Great Florence Experience - The wine tasting at Enoteca Alessi is always a wonderful experience! Our sommelier was very personable as well as informative. The antipasto board is delicious and the wines are excellent!!

Gem of a wine tasting - I would highly recommend this tour for those who live Tuscan red wines! Our sommelier was knowledgeable and very pleasant. He chose the perfect nibbles and small bites for the wines! Plan to do this tour again, with my husband!

Fabulous wine tasting adventure with Matteo - Matteo was fabulous! A knowledgeable and welcoming sommelier who shared his passion for wine. A delicious charcuterie board accompanied our wines and Matteo added a bonus olive oil tasting. Enoteca is an incredible wine bar and shop. I have never seen anything like it!

Wonderful Time! - This was a very relaxed and informational tasting. My siblings and I had a lot of fun learning and tasting different wines. I would highly recommend to anyone that wants to learn more about wine or just taste some great wine and cheese and olive oil! Thank you for a great time!

Excellent value for money and easy to access - Tasting gave an overall view of nearby wines. All the wines were excellent to our taste, and they were accompanied with good cheese. Sommelier also instructed us to wine tasting, wines in Italy etc. Atmosphere was fine and we find the whole experience well worth to money.

This tour was awesome! I was traveling... - <p>This tour was awesome! I was traveling alone so it was nice to be able to sit down with a small group there were only three others attending and enjoy great wine. Good value for money and just an overall great Florence experience!</p>

Don’t waste your time or money on the Wine and Cheese Tasting. - Enoteca Alessi is a fantastic place to shop for wine, liquors, and gourmet snacks like “BaBa Al Ruhm “ but don’t waste your time or money on the Wine, Cheese, and olive oil tastings promoted on Viator and operated by Fat Tire Tours. We had a very disappointing experience for the €40 per person we paid for this. We tasted 3 wines, 2 cheeses (actually just pecorino cheese, one young and one aged), some prosciutto and some salami on a board and a little olive oil on some dried bread.
Quantity aside, the “expert sommelier” just tried to just give us the wine and cheese and get rid of us. He gave us the wine, recited a script, and then took off, Same with the cheese board and olive oil. The other table that was guided by someone from Fat Tire Tours had a much better presentation than we had from the Enoteca Alessi employee who was supposed to be an expert sommelier.

Bad experience, such a rip off - We got 3 very small glasses of wine instead of 4 and we didn’t sample any olive oils. Also, the tour stated that we would try different kinds of cheeses and it was only two cheese options. After 5 minutes the guide was done and he left, we finished the 3 sips of wine in 20 minutes and that was it. Very disappointing for the €80,- we paid for this
