Excellent evening out - The evening opera was excellent. Old church with paintings all around had a great atmosphere despite there not being a very large audience. The performance lasted about an hour and fifteen minutes split into two parts with a short break in the middle. There was a lady singer Hiroka Saito with a fabulous voice and a superb pianist David Boldrini. All the pieces were classical. Most were duets of vocal and piano but there were also 3 or 4 piano solos which were absolutely amazing. Pieces were by Mozart, Verdi, Puccini, Schubert Cilea and Chopin. If you like a bit of opera or just want to try it out for an hour like us then this is the evening for you as it was superb

A very special thing to do in Florence - A small operation in an intimate venue. Maria’s voice was absolutely resounding. The pianist has such talent - I’ve never seen someone place so fast, yet so graceful. The acoustics of the church are perfect for this experience. The show lasted one full hour—a good amount of time to deeply enjoy the music, but short enough to where it didn’t consume our whole evening. Get there early if you want to sit up front! Seats are first come, first serve.

Tourist trap opera - I attend to this evento 3 years ago and it was beautiful. But today I brought my family and the 2 sopranos were terrible singers, their attire was completely inappropriate for an opera singer. The venue was full because is high season in Florence, maybe this place use to be good, but today was a sad, tourist trap experience.
