- Geko Art Studio Florence - Experience a unique blend of traditional Florentine art methods and contemporary techniques! Spend part of your day in our Studio with our expert instructors and choose from the following sessions: 1) Leonardian Drawing Session: Follow the traditional drawing process on paper using sanguine, sepia, or charcoal to reproduce one of the famous sketches by the Tuscan genius; 2) Low Artistic Relief: Create a small relief sculpture using clay modeling; 3) Botanical Plaster Casting Workshop: Make reliefs and drawings with plants, flowers, and sculptures on clay, and take home the plaster mold; 4) Palette Knife Painting Class: Create a small oil painting using a palette knife instead of brushes; 5) Watercolor Class: Learn watercolor techniques by painting naturalistic details like flowers or fruit; 6) Watercolor with Gold Leaf: Apply gold leaf to your watercolor painting; 7) Van Gogh Session: Create a painting using the technique and style of the famous Flemish artist.

Our artistic atelier has been offering lessons and workshops since 2018. Our artistic experiences are designed for all people who love art and are suitable for all levels and ages. Our goal is to spread traditional techniques in the contemporary panorama, encouraging travelers to rediscover their own essence born in Florence, cradle of Renaissance art. Furthermore, with this type of artistic experience, we intend to offer each participant a unique and educational adventure, which at the same time gives emotions, in order to make their stay in Florence unforgettable. So all you have to do is book your favorite artistic experience and we’ll take care of the rest! NOTE: all our lessons are private, once booked you will be contacted by our office to arrange times based on your needs and the availability of the atelier. Generally 10-13 are available; 2-5pm and 5.30-8.30pm our staff will try to help you!
