Fantastic guide, bringing the history to of Florence to life - We joined as family of 4, 2 adults, 2 teens. We enjoyed the walk around the Florence’s Medici historical buildings. The tour was not just the Medici but our fantastic guide Renata was so knowledgeable about the history of Florence that we seemed to get a history tour of Florence dating back to Roman times and beyond. Renata had great energy and passion for her job, was attentive to to the group, finding shaded areas to talk to us. Renata really made the history of Florence and the Medici come to life for us. Renata also went the extra mile for us, taking us to Pitti palace to ensure we could access. I highly recommend Renata and Caf Walking tour. Thanks Renata

On the tracks of Florence’s Giants - our guide Renata provided our group with excellent informations about the Medicis, but also much more: from historical anecdotes to architectural details to the larger context of the epoch and art history, she was also patient and eager to answer our questions, all in all like a promenade with a very well informed friend! a great experience

Enthusiastic - Very enthusiastic guide who took us to all the famous places. Perhaps I expected a little more depth in terms of history, but I understand that that may not be possible, given the duration and composition of the tour.

Great perspectives - Marta shared interesting stories. The tour of the other side of the Ponte Vecchio really added great perspective on a great area of Florence.

Even though the guide... - Even though the guide spoke English, she was very difficult to understand and also spoke too fast and too softly.. Also very hard to keep up and locate her in the crowds. Would be much better if she had some sort of identifying flag.

Short tour couldve been longer - We waited 20. minutes for a family that ran late to the meeting point holding up the tour in drizzlyweather and they didnt show that they cared either. It didnt feeling like a mile walk either as the squares led into each other. The guide briefed us on what we were seeing. At the end we had to remind her about our Pitti Palace tickets that she physically didnt have and had to make a. all to the office for the ticket reservation. This is not included in the tour. Bit disorganised. Wa dissapointed overall.

Not a good tour - I do not recommend d this tour at all with the company Florence Tuscany & Italy tours . It was not what they offered. Very little was said about the Medicis , being this the main focus of the tour. Did not match the description of the tour I bought! I learned nothing from the Medici history. I asked for a reimbursement or another tour to compensate this and nobody answered me !

No good. At all. - Our guide, Marcello, list us several times and seemed not to know or not to care. We completed the Medici portion of our Medici walking tour but he did not give us tickets for Boboli Gardens, per what we reserved. Marcello told us we had to pay for our tickets at the biggliettra. I notified Viator via its app and received no response.
