The birthplace of the Renaissance, Italy, is teeming with archaeological wonders bathed in sunlight, including the remnants of a Roman amphitheater. You could spend countless hours wandering the historical San Giovanni district, passing Mona Lisa’s former residence, or perhaps paying homage to Botticelli at his resting place. Maybe you’ll traverse Via dei Girolami, a medieval avenue with arches, and cross the river to Oltrarno district to savor a ‘super Tuscan’ wine, followed by a meal at the Fishing Lab – a dining establishment that boasts recovered frescoes on the upper floor and Roman rubble in the basement!
Post booking, within a day, you’ll receive a brief questionnaire on your personality and preferences. Based on your answers, a host with similar interests will be introduced to you. Your host will reach out to you directly to propose an itinerary that showcases the city’s uniqueness. Both of you will also decide on the timing and the location for the meet-up. Remember, the itinerary is adaptable, so you’re always at liberty to alter your plans during the trip.
