Scenic Daytime Drive from Florence with Charming Guides and Vintage Fiats - This is a relaxed, scenic way to explore the countryside and small towns around Florence, best suited for travelers who enjoy a leisurely pace. The group travels at the speed of the slowest driver, which makes it comfortable for beginners, and the vintage Fiat cars are genuinely fun to drive. We booked the Fiat tour but were paired with a group riding Vespas, which worked fine.
We were a group of four, with two taller drivers (6’ and 6’4”), and we were able to fit comfortably in the Fiats with one adult passenger per car. The experience felt well organized and well supported: Ado was a charming, knowledgeable guide, Alex provided attentive on-road support, and Giuseppe handled the bus transport smoothly.
Practical note: our U.S. driver’s licenses were accepted, and we did not need international driving permits. Overall, this is an enjoyable daytime outing for seeing rural Tuscany without feeling rushed.

It was awesome. We loved... - It was awesome. We loved it all. Tall people may struggle but there is an electric car option available. If sitting a third person in the back seat, it is quite tight!

Ado and the cruisers - We had a wonderful time cruising the hills and enjoying a nice lunch with the other cruisers in our group. The ranch house meal and wine were great, and the hosts were pleasant as could be. Our awesome guide Ado was brilliant, witty and entertaining. I highly recommend this tour to everyone looking to have a little adventure rather than walking in a pack.

The BEST tour!!! - I can not say enough good things about this tour!!! Going to the garage and picking out our Fiat was so cool. I love that they are original Fiats with manual transmission. Chris our guide was very knowledgeable and kind! He was amazing! And to top it off my hard-to-please teenage son said it was the best part of our trip to Italy! I can’t wait to come back to Florence to do this again!

Fabulous Fiat500 experience - A fantastic experience! The guide meets you up in town then transports you to the country to pick up the Fiat. They go through how to drive it, with a test drive and then you’re off. Walkabout tours really go above and beyond to make you feel safe driving around the countryside. Lunch is at a beautiful estate with lovely food.
Would definitely recommend doing this experience.

Tuscan Fiat adventure - Well with doing, great fun!!! Alex our guide was knowledgeable and very friendly, knew his history as well, great day out but would have like a bit more time behind the wheel of a geriatric fiat 500 with no steering or brakes…it was brilliant and I had a smile as wide as the Arno river playing follow the leader. Would recommend.
