Highlights
  • Cinque Terre Trails - Cinque Terre are five coastal villages in eastern Liguria that make up a UNESCO World Heritage site! Here, a train links the five different villages together.
A small group tour with a max of 8 people is the perfect solution for those who want to keep the costs down and at the same time touch as many destinations as possible without being in a 54-seat bus.
Your driver will be with you for the entire day. He will escort you on the boat and train. - Public boats operate subject to weather conditions and along the Cinque Terre from April until about the 3rd week of October.
  • Borgo Storico di Riomaggiore - Arrive at Riomaggiore by black Mercedes Minivan. The town climbs up along the ridges overlooking the sea and it is characterized from the typical stone houses with coloured façades and slate-roofs. From Riomaggiore we will take the Public boat to Manarola. Public boats operate subject to weather conditions and along the Cinque Terre from April until about the 3rd week of October. If you wish to hike you can take the Trail 531 Riomaggiore to Manarola. Our driver will follow the group by boat.
  • Trail 531 Riomaggiore to Manarola - Optional -If you wish to hike you can take this trail on your own or instead you can follow the driver on the boat/train. The tickets are not included. Check in the real-time practicability of the path network at this link: http://www.parconazionale5terre.it/Esentieri-outdoor.php#/
You will meet back our driver in Manarola.
    Forward time: 1 hour
Difficulty Level: EE - For expert hikers
    Length: 1.470 km
    Difference in height: 202m.
Follow the path signposted along the vegetable gardens until the small bridge from which begins the long flight of steps that leads through cultivated and fallow fields, with a panoramic view, to the ridge of Costa Corniolo. From there you can admire the tip of Montenero eastward, Manarola and the coastline of Cinque Terre westward.
From the ridge of Costa Corniolo, the descent to Manarola begins on the left with the ancient flight of steps. It runs down the hill with spectacular views all the way to the village
  • Borgo Storico di Manarola - Manarola may be the oldest of the towns in the Cinque Terre, with the cornerstone of the church, San Lorenzo, dating from 1338. The local dialect is Manarolese, which is marginally different from the dialects in the nearby area. The name “Manarola” is probably a dialectical evolution of the Latin, “magna rota”. In the Manarolese dialect this was changed to “magna roea” which means “large wheel”, in reference to the mill wheel in the town. Then train from Manarola to Vernazza
  • Vernazza - Vernazza is the only natural port of the five villages. Being the wealthiest village its architecture is most elaborate. See the Castle of the Doria, look at the watchtowers, and do not miss the Romanesque sanctuary of Our Lady of Reggio. You will be amazed by its simplicity and yet fascinated by its architecture. In Vernazza we can have a cooling swim in the sea, a nice shower and we can enjoy a delicious lunch made of authentic Pesto Pasta and fresh Mediterrean seafood (not included in the price).
Train from Vernazza to Riomaggiore back on the Black Mercedes minivan on the way to Pisa to see the Leaning tower.
  • Piazza dei Miracoli - Continue to Pisa. Free time to see the Leaning Tower and walk around Piazza dei Miracoli to see its other celebrated monuments: Pisa Baptistery, Pisa Duomo. During the hour-long visit, you’ll also discover Piazza dei Cavalieri, home to the historic university Scuola Normale Superiore di Pisa. The tour will reach the Pisa tower at around 16:30. Usually it is enough to look at it from the outside, it is beautiful. However if you want to reserve your own tickets to climb it, you can do it choosing 16:45 as the
time. Entrance Leaning tower’s tickets are not not included. Back on our black Mercedes Minivan on the way to Florence.

Must see in Italy! - Diana was the most excellent host. She was friendly and welcoming; knew so much about Italian history too! Thank you for such a wonderful day. I'm so glad I took the time for the day trip to Cinque Terre and Pisa from Florence. I wouldn't have been able to do this trip alone.

Excellent service, totally recommended. - Marianna was excellent and very on time. I really enjoyed my time during this tour with her as our transportation person and the rest of the other people on the van, really nice people I met that day. If I ever come back (I will, that's for sure) I would book the same tour again.

Unforgettable Experience in Cinque Terre! - Cinque Terre was an incredible experience. The uniqueness of the drive to the 5 cities and the feeling of being taken back centuries in time to these unforgettable locations was simply amazing. Our guide Alberto was the best! His knowledge and insights into each city was welcomed. Albertos story telling of the history of each city and the locals only paths he knew made the trip for us. Our kids loved the rock jumping in RiaMaoggore and the warm waters of Venezia. This trip was truly 5 stars!

Awesome visit to Cinque Terre and Pisa - My family and I enjoyed our visit to Cinque Terre and Pisa. Our tour guide, Gabriele, was very knowledgeable and passionate as he explained the different sites. Even though the ride was long and we were weary, Gabriele made the trip interesting and memorable. Cinque Terre is an incredible place to visit and even though we were there a short time, it was awesome. Gabriele went above and beyond and set us up with an awesome lunch as well. Food was amazing; highly recommend the pesto pasta. We finished with an hour in Pisa and we had plenty of time to visit the tower and shop at the gift shop before returning to Florence. I highly recommend this trip!

Amazing Day! - I had the most amazing day with this tour! Diana went above and beyond explaining and answering our questions. She made us reservations at a restaurant and made sure we were well taken care of. She also was really good with engaging with us and making us feel welcome and helped us build connections with everyone on the van. I was alone and had a fun time connecting with everyone. Would really recommend and if you get Diana as a tour guide you are in amazing hands.

Our guide Jack was incredible - This place is really incredible. Just keep in mind that these cities are built on very steep hills, so most of the walking is either steep or stairs, but totally worth the effort. Our guide was Jack and he was amazing. You could tell by the look on his face and his actions that he loves doing what he is doing and that he genuinely cares about the clients and their experience. He took such great care of us. Highly recommended.

Clinique Terre and pisa Tower Trip very good!! - Beautiful places great swimming holes/areas food very good especially fried fish, gelato, and shrimp on all the islands . I like that this tour went to three islands which was perfect- because they seem to be all the same after you experience the first few ...what made the trip was the van driver Vega from iDrive Company. she was knowledgeable about the areas from Florence to the islands and was very professional. She was very friendly outgoing and really made our trip. I hurt my ankle and another woman on trip was having difficulty walking and they made ever effort to help us make it safely through the tour. The pisa tower was another added bonus after visiting thebclinique terre islands. It was a long day but happy I saw some touristy thinks in Italy.
