Stairway to heaven - Just amazing but watch out there is a lot of stairs to get to the top. This will be your weekly workout. Our tour guide was super knowledgeable, she had prepared many photos and printouts to show and explain how the whole Basilica came about. The tour starts early for a reason, you want to be there before the crowds. Once you reach the Duomo skywalk it is all worth it. The views and the grand nature of everything. Wow!

Great value! - My husband and I booked this last-minute because we wanted to avoid the super-long standby line to enter the Cathedral. It was so worth it! The exclusive terrace was worth the cost in itself. Our small group were the ONLY people I saw go up there. Truly an exclusive. And our guide Isabella was very sweet and thorough and we learned so much! The only negative thing I could say was that we had a little bit of trouble locating the initial meeting place, but it's no fault to the City Wonders/Viator. Be aware that the Cathedral/Duomo complex has THREE different ticketing offices, so give yourself extra time to locate the one you'll be meeting at. A few members of the tour group couldn't find it before we departed, but City Wonders representatives were great in making sure they could meet up with us once they did find the meeting point. Would recommend!

Duomo - The Duomo, I’m a single traveller and wouldn’t Norma pay for guided tours . The guide had such passion and great knowledge ,really made the tour come alive . You learn so much more from a guided tour than any guide book . The views from the top of the Duomo , were spectacular . I previously worked in the tourism industry promoting the county of Somerset in the uk , I know how hard it is to captivate a group of tourists ,I don’t normally do reviews, but I can’t recommend the guide or the tour highly enough. It has to in the top 3 of things to do in Florence. amazing job and I cannot recommend this tour highly enough.

Great tour - This was a wonderful tour and Sofia was fabulous. The climb was intense with all the people but the view was wonderful. Sofia had a wealth of knowledge and the terrace's view was gorgeous.

Conclusion: OK for a drink and the view, otherwise: definitely not! - The view is very nice, which is why it gets a star. The service is terrible, although there are several waiters standing around, no one comes. They seem annoyed, are unfriendly, "throw" the cutlery on the table. The drinks came after the starter. The tartare looked greasy, inedible. The pasta was clearly from a convenience bag and only lukewarm. And at the end they add 10% to the bill. What for?? And why is this not mentioned anywhere? In conclusion: OK for a drink and the view, otherwise: just don't!!
