- Minimum age to join the tour is 12 years old; infants are not allowed
- Drinking age is 18 years old
- Due to a few stairs to access wine cellars, this tour is not accessible for those using a wheelchair
- Vegetarian & gluteen free, can be accommodated, please advise at time of booking under special requirements.
- Wines tasted: reds typical of the Chianti region ( normally Chianti Classico, Riserva, Super Tuscans, Gran Selezione, etc.).
- Operates rain or shine, please dress appropriately
- Luggage can be stored on the bus during the tour, if needed
- Return at departure point: 1:45pm for the 9.00am tour - 7:00pm for the 2:30pm tour. To reserve other activities, allow plenty of time, in case of heavy traffic, etc.
- Visited wineries may vary depending on their availability, etc.; they may be 2 of the following Fattoria Montecchio, Casa Emma, San Michele a Torri, Villa Poggio Torselli, Podere Anselmo, Casa di Monte, Tenuta Capponi, Villa i Langi, Tenuta San Vito, etc.
- For cruise ship passengers only: if your ship docks at Livorno or La Spezia Port, be advised that the driving time to the meeting point in Florence is approx. 2 hours. Before booking, be sure your ship schedule works with our departure times, and you have your own transportation arranged from the port to Florence and back.

Great time at the Chianti. Wineries - Jason was our guide and Nino our driver and they were great! Jason was very entertaining and enthusiastic despite our groups quiet start!! He was very informative and the two wineries we went to had great wine and olive oil! Learned a lot about Chianti wine ! Highly recommend this tour

Fun tour with good wine - The wine tour was fun and informative.
The tour went to two small wineries that offered good wines and insight into local winemaking in the region.
The views from the vineyards was excellent and the tour host was knowledgeable about the region since he lived nearby.

10/10 - Perfect tour. I felt like we had plenty of time on the tour and the half day left me with extra time to explore Florence! Suzie was a great guide and the wine and venues were awesome.

Cheers to a beautiful afternoon in Tuscany! - We enjoyed spectacular views while visiting 2 wineries. Both winemakers were very passionate about their land, preservation of history, and their products.
It was a also pleasure to meet fellow travelers from around the world as we sampled wine and snacks at a leisurely pace.
Susy provided a bit of commentary and history along the way and snapped photos on request. Tony’s bus was immaculate, the a/c provided cool respite from the heat of the day, and his playlist on the return trip kept the energy high. We were sorry to see the trip end!

Highly recommend! - Our tour guide Mateo, driver Antonio, and hosts at the wineries were amazing! We left this tour feeling much more knowledgeable about the wine in the region and thoroughly enjoyed the views, the company, and the experience overall.

Fantastic views, Awesome guides. - Wine was great, but you really go on this tour for the views for sure. A little more of a “tour” of the wineries and explanations of the process would have been good to add.
Jonathon and Tony were AWESOME and we would love for them to be our guide again.

Definitely has to be done! - A wonderful morning spent in the beautiful Tuscan countryside. Jason our guide was informative and entertaining. Each winery made us very welcome. The wine and foods provided were excellent. All in all a superb way to spend half a day.
