Fantastic all round - Great people and a day well spent. Highlight was the banter between the two pizza guys. Making delicious Gelato and a perfect pizza was a great idea for those with friends and family. Very hospitable with wine and refreshments during the demonstrations.

The best part of Italy - Our two weeks in Italy was peaked by our class and time with Cris, Arla and Tiziano. Not only was it an entertaining and very hands-on class, but all were entertaining in the way they taught the class like an Italian Benihanas. (Better) The location of the estate and the scenery there was also priceless. You can't go wrong with this class. (Some walking is required.) If we ever make it back to Florence as a family, we'll definitely come back and bring our kids. Timeline wise, we met up at 5pm at the meetup location. It was a 20 minute walk to the bus pickup location. The bus was a short 15 minute ride outside of town. At the estate it's a short walk down an old road to where the class is. We started off with Focaccia, and drinks. Then made the gelato preparation. Then went through the dough preparation. Then we mixed the gelato (2 people to a recipe) and finally we made and cooked each our own pizza. After the pizza we had a sampling of everyone's gelato. We got back on the bus at 10pm and reached back to the drop off point by 10:20pm. We were staying at the Maison Du Sage right next to the drop off point and the Santa Croce leather district, would recommend for anyone looking to also take the evening class.

Highlight of our enitre trip - This was by far the most fun thing we have done in Italy. Lavi, Arla, and Titzianno were absolutely fantastic. They made the class so fun and enjoyable, and were very helpful. The kitchen and countryside were also beautiful, and had so many amazing views. You will not regret this!

Must do when in Florence - The location was beautiful and the enthusiasm from the Walk About team was great. Very fun atmosphere to learn and make gelato and pizza. We got inspired to make our own gelato and pizza at home!

Highly Recommended Experience with making Pizza and Gelato - My wife and I had a fun experience. The people were really friendly. I learned interesting things about pizza and a lot about making gelato. I appreciate the cleanliness and how they had all of the resources available to make pizza and gelato. I would highly recommend this if you are in Florence, especially an American.

Wow. This was a great... - Wow. This was a great evening. Gloria was a very good gelato instructor. She went through the basics on gelato with humour, then jumped into the making. So many flavour options! Then Arla and Titiano (spelling?) were expert pizza instructors. It was all delicious! And so fresh! Everyone was happy and full. Highly recommend

MAKING MEMORIES - My husband and I had a wonderful time making Gelato and Napoleon style Pizza. The gelato and pizza were spectacular. The estate was magical. Arla and Tattiano taught us how to make Pizza and they were so much fun! Gloria taught us how to make Gelato and we had a super fun experiment to go along with it. Recommend 10/10. We are so glad we chose to do this class!

Pizza and gelato were so good! - This is my second time coming to this cooking class. I brought 4 of my friends with me. We had a very nice time. Max and T (pizza chef) were amazing, entertaining and knowledgeable. The only downside was Nick. His obnoxious flirting and harassment of a man there with his new bride was cringy to say the least. It was obviously an act and we couldn’t figure out why it was necessary—it almost spoiled the entire experience for us. Maybe Nick should consider reigning that act in a little for the rest of us.
