- Luggage can be stored on the bus during the tour, if needed
- Return at departure point: 1:45pm for the 9.00am tour - 7:00pm for the 2:30pm tour. To reserve other activities, allow plenty of time, in case of heavy traffic, etc.
- Visited wineries may vary depending on their availability, etc.; they may be 2 of the following Fattoria Montecchio, Casa Emma, San Michele a Torri, Villa Poggio Torselli, Podere Anselmo, Casa di Monte, Tenuta Capponi, Villa i Langi, Tenuta San Vito, etc.
- For cruise ship passengers only: if your ship docks at Livorno or La Spezia Port, be advised that the driving time to the meeting point in Florence is approx. 2 hours. Before booking, be sure your ship schedule works with our departure times, and you have your own transportation arranged from the port to Florence and back.

Wonderfully fun ! - Solid rain and fog did not deter us from having an amazing time. Our guide and driver where A plus and both vineyards were wonderful! Would do this tour again on a sunny day.

Superb tour! - Don't waste your time checking other tours! This was phenomenal!! Great wineries with beautiful landscape!! Worth every Penney!! Mona and Massimo were the best! 40 min bus ride to first vineyard that was very comfortable with lots of information provided!

Must do! - This was a great tour learning about the Chianti region and wine! Jason was a great guide and definitely kept us entertained. Highly recommend taking a few hours out of the busy Florence streets and explore the countryside.

Double Pleasure at Wine Tastings. - Great to visit two different wineries. They provide two perspectives of growing, harvesting and processing their grapes.
Travel to and from the wineries provided fantastic views of the Tuscany landscapes.

Truly wonderful afternoon out - I booked this trip to co-incide with our 40th wedding anniversary, because I thought wine tasting combined with a trip into the Tuscan countryside would be something special. And it did not disappoint. For me, it was the highlight of our 5 days in Florence. Our guide, Daniele, kept us informed about the day's proceedings and entertained on the 30 minute drive to the first winery. There were 24 in our group. The small coach was comfortable (and had seat belts). At the first winery, San Michela Torri, a member of their staff took us on a short tour and explained in detail (but not too much detail) how the wine was made, about the Chianti region, and also about their extra virgin olive oil production. The tasting, which was in a private room, consisted of 3 red wines, Chianti Classico, Chianto Florentine Hills, and Super Tuscan. Very generous measures for a tasting. It was accompanied by a few slices of bread with their extra virgin olive oil. There were other groups there, so we had the place to ourselves. A short drive though lovely undulating countryside took us to the next winery, Tenuta Poggio Torselli. Here a member of staff took us on a tour of the formal gardens, explaining about the history of the estate. The views of the vineyards and hills were lovely. The tasting started with red 3 wines, small measure this time, accompanied by a few cold meats and cheese from local producers. And then we had small measures of a 3 further wines, amongst which was an "orange" white wine (which I didn't like but my wife did). There was a lot of singing in the coach on the way home! What we liked about the trip was that the 2 talks at the wineries had different focus, and indeed they were both different in themselves. Plus we never felt rushed in either place.

Breathtaking and well worth it! - Great experience learning about the chianti wine making and olive oil. Tasting was perfect. The views of the Tuscan countryside and vineyards were magnificent.
