There's Much More Outside of Florence - It's a long day, but well worth it. So important to get out of the city and into the beautiful Tuscan countryside. I thought the group was going to be smaller (40 people) but it was actually 60. The bus was super comfortable and smooth riding. Our tour guide, Manolo, was fantastic; super informative, responsive, and fun. During some of the longer rides between destinations, he gave very insightful and historic information about what we were seeing and going to see. Pisa was the last destination of the day and we could have certainly passed it by and gotten back to Florence earlier. We didn't have much time to check out the sites once we arrived, but there really isn't that much to check out. I didn't pay the extra fee to go into the Leaning Tower and those that did said it really wasn't worth it.

AMAZING - Mano, the driver and other guides were excellent! It was a brilliant day in Tuscany! I didn’t expect it to be as educational as it was. The guides were a wealth of knowledge!

This is a must-do on your visit to the Tuscany region! - I own a tour company and this is around the fifteenth time I've done this day trip. It is such a wonderful experience. Davide, our guide for the day, was amazing! I've had him a couple of times this year as our guide. He is so thoughtful making sure our group of 20+ were all seated together on the bus. He is knowledgeable about the Tuscany region and adds humor and fun to make it a fabulous day! I highly recommend this day trip and hope you are lucky enough to get Davide.

Great Value for Three Amazing Cities - This tour is fantastic for travelers who want to see a lot, but don't have days to spend doing it! The value you get from this tour is incredible, as you see and experience a lot in one long day. Our guide was Mirela, she was very knowledgeable, friendly, and had excellent communication skills. The tour first stops at Siena, complete with a tour of the city and of the Duomo. It's a great trip, but my only small recommendation is that they provide a little bit more free time at the end of the guided tour. We only had about 15 minutes of free time, and after you grab a coffee and go to the washroom, it's pretty much over. The guided tour takes you to a lot of the highlights, but I personally love a bit of self exploration. You get a lot more exploration in San Gimignano, which is definitely the highlight of the tour. The city is amazingly well preserved, the gelato was incredible, and there's plenty of free time to take in a couple sights on your own. We climbed the torre, which I recommend for the incredible views you get at the top, and its much cheaper than climbing the tower at Pisa later in the day. The winery/ristorante stop in the hills near San Gimignano is great. The food is good, the wine is plentiful, and you get your courses very quickly. There were plenty of gluten free/allergenic options for those who require it. Pisa is a nice final stop on the tour, though we opted not to climb the tower as it was getting dark this late into the season and the views would have been somewhat less impressive than if we came earlier in the year. There are decently priced restaurants nearby for a quick snack and a drink or two, though be wary that washroom lines are quite long if you choose a restaurant near the tower. Overall, the value of this tour is great and I'd recommend it to anyone who is in Italy for a short period of time and wants to hit up the highlights of each city.

Giancarlo and Florence go hand in hand - Giancarlo is an outstanding man. He’s one of the nicest and mosh knowledgeable people i’ve ever met. He did the greatest job showing us everything we encountered and did the best job giving us a history of Italy. He holds so much passion for Italy and giving tourists a better understanding of this beautiful culture. I made a great friend in Giancarlo and I hope everyone gets to experience his energy.

Best way to fit a lot in a day - Met at 7:45am and got back at 7:45pm. All of the locations were very good. Bus was comfortable and had probably 50+ people in our group. We did a walking tour of Siena. Would have rather just had that time to explore. Only 30 min free time in Siena after walking tour, 1 hour in San G., and about 1 hour in Pisa. It was dark by the time we were in Pisa (445pm) in November. Tower was lit but not super well. Would have liked more free time but was already very tight to fit everything in. Lunch was good at the winery. Did not provide very good direction for when to do bathroom breaks throughout the day.
