Overall enjoyable ride - Alex was a fantastic guide. I’d rate him 15/10. He was enthusiastic and helpful.
Pro’s: The e-bike really makes hills doable. We had great weather and a good group who was supportive even though we were always the slowest in the group. Overall, you do need some fitness, but don’t stress if you haven’t been biking a ton.
Cons: Some roads were perfectly clear but other roads had more cars than expecting. The catalog picture for the tour makes it seem like it’s a little more in the countryside than it is. I admit I probably wouldn’t have booked the tour with my fit but older mom if I had realized how many cars we would need to navigate around. Admittedly, I probably should have done a little more research.
Overall, would I do it again? Yes but without my mom :)

Just do this e-bike tour, DREAMY! - Oh my gosh! Wow, what an amazing experience. Alessio was our guide= OUTSTANDING! I had never ridden an e-bike and he was very informative and supportive (It wasn’t as scary as I thought but it does work a bit differently.) He guided us carefully out of the city and up hills to Piazzale Michangelo, our first stop and enjoyed gorgeous views of the city. He was most informative and generous with his his knowledge. Thank goodness for the e-bike as we headed up and down the gorgeous hills of Tuscany. Honestly, think of every view you’ve seen in a book or movie and that’s it. PLUS, jasmine was in bloom and the smell was incredible. We stopped at a darling piazza, actually picked up local cheese and a ceramic gift, said a quick prayer in the church and off we went. Next was to a lovely vineyard/hotel and its wine shop/tasting room, Diadema. We tasted local olive oils, wines and then enjoyed a beautiful lunch surrounded by gorgeous views. Back on the bike for more gorgeous views and back to Florence. It was a remarkable day.

5 stars! - We had the pleasure of having Stefi as our tour guide on the E-bike tour, and she truly made the experience exceptional.
Stefi’s extensive knowledge about the area was evident from the start, providing us with fascinating insights and stories that enriched our journey. Her friendly demeanor and approachable nature made everyone feel at ease, regardless of their experience with e-bikes.
She also ensured that each participant was comfortable and confident on their e-bike before setting off, which made for a smooth and enjoyable ride.
If you’re considering an E-bike tour, we highly recommend Stefi as your guide!

I highly recommend this ride! - Our E-bike tour was SO FABULOUS! We lucked-out with our cool guide Michela and the two other couples who made up our “biking family.” The E-bikes were wonderful— I basically left my bike in 4th gear and just cranked up the E-boost as we went up the hills! A few of the people in our group had never ridden a E-bike before, and they did great! We rode through beautiful rolling hills and quaint towns. We stopped at a couple view spots to take photos. And then at a beautiful resort in the hills, we had olive oil tasting, wine tasting and a very tasty lunch! What an amazing way to see the lovely countryside; it was one of the best things we did on our trip! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS RIDE! :)

Best part of our Florence vacation! - The bike tour is a must when visiting Florence—it was our favorite part of the entire trip! The sights, the stops and historic info we learned along the way, the tasting and lunch—incredible—but even better was our tour guide, Alessio—he made the experience all the more awesome! Because of him, it felt like we were out for a biking adventure with a family member living in Italy—he was truly the best!!!

Beautiful sights but poor bikes - The actual itinerary of this outing was good. The scenary was beautiful. Although our friend was riding along and did not hit anything in the street and the back fender on his bike broke. Could have caused an accident but was able to stop immediately. It was a loose fender that was never maintained. We waited over 1/2 hr for another bike only find that it also had a loose fender. The 3rd bike was better but the kick stand broke- thats ok. Unfortunately this 3rd bike did not have the power for a 190lb man. The tour guide was wonderful and agreed that this was not an accident caused by my friend. A few days later I received a call followed up by an email that they were so pleased that my friend was not hurt after his accident but it will cost him $145 due to hitting a hole in the road! This was far from the truth but because we did not purchase the insurance they have charged us with an accident when in fact it was negligence on this company for not maintaining their bikes.

Frustrating - There was an issue with getting a ticket for the wrong day. We showed up and were told we missed the tour by a day. No email reminder. What was upsetting was that they did not even work with us to reschedule. Meanwhile we used Get your Guide and they happily accommodated us so we still had a nice experience. This was very upsetting as I use Viator a lot but not anymore.
