Great! - Our guide was great! She delved into the paintings and statues, sharing insights about techniques and how painting styles evolved over the centuries. Plus, skipping the queues was a real bonus!

Beautiful tour with a very knowledgeable guide. - Beautiful tour, it manages to make sense of the entire artistic heritage of Florence. Our guide Elena was wonderful and she provided in depth descriptions of the paintings and statues, the techniques used and how the style of painting changed over the centuries and how the styles were influenced. We also enjoyed all the stories and anecdotes. We got a lot more out of the visit than we would have done without a guide. Getting into the museums was stress and queue free. Definitely recommend!

Great artwork - Our guide did not speak English very well; it was an English speaking tour. Kiyoko was very knowledgeable about all the artwork, but she obviously didn’t know how to guide a group (only 7 people). She was not at the meeting place timely and did not have a banner with the tour name as you said she would. I finally found her at the right place, 10 minutes late, when I had been at the time specified but went and looked elsewhere. During the tour she would just wander off into another room without announcing something like “Follow me, we’re going in here now.” I had to ask her 3 times to stop wandering somewhere without telling us what she was doing and to follow her. She needs training on how to be a guide. But she is very knowledgeable.

David was fantastic but tour was disappointing - First of all, the guide was late and we were frantic thinking we missed our tour. When she showed up we had a very hard time understanding her. She was Japanese with an Italian accept so the combination over the radios made it really difficult in the crowds to hear what she was saying. The David was my main focus and he did not disappoint!!!! WOW!! The other thing we really wanted to see was the Medusa painted on a shield but the tour was over and we were told that time had run out and we weren’t able to see it. That was really disappointing. The tour was disappointing to say the least. I think our guide was having a bad day but it would have been great to have been able to understand her better.
