Tikal: Heart of the Mayan World.

Flores - Meet at Flores Island or Mundo Maya International Airport. Our tour to Tikal National Park departs at 8:00 am. If there’s time for hotel check-in, you can leave your luggage at our office on La Isla de Flores.

Tikal Visitor Center - After boarding the bus in Flores, we head to Tikal National Park, spending about an hour and a half to reach the Visitor Center, where you’ll find:

Tikal National Park - Upon arrival at the Park and using the Visitor Center services, we proceed to Ticket Control where park rangers will give us a bracelet. We then begin our hike through Tikal, guided by a local expert who will share insights on the fauna, flora, history, and archaeology of this remarkable site. Key points include:

• Central Plaza
• Temple I (Great Jaguar)
• Temple II
• North Acropolis
• Temple IV
• Lost World
• 7 Temples
• Temple V
  You’ll also experience the lush vegetation and diverse wildlife within Tikal National Park.

Tikal Park’s Restaurant - After the tour, we return to the Visitor Center to dine at Tikal Park Restaurant, offering:

• Grilled meat
• Grilled chicken
• Vegetarian options

Yaxha National Park

Flores - Enjoy free time in the morning (optional rest at the hotel or a tour of Lake Peten Itza). At 12:00 pm, we depart for our Sunset Tour in Yaxha, traveling 45 minutes to Las Gardenias Restaurant for a quick lunch (20 minutes) or a takeaway box lunch.

Yaxha - After lunch, we drive about an hour and 20 minutes to Yaxha National Park (the last 11 kilometers are on dirt roads). At the Visitor Center, you’ll find:

• Ticket Control (bracelet provided)
• A form to fill out (survey)
  We then drive another 5 minutes to the parking area. Our local guide will lead us through Yaxha National Park, exploring plazas, temples, and ball courts, while sharing information on the fauna, flora, history, and archaeology, culminating in a stunning sunset at Pyramid 216 or Las Manos Rojas.

During our guided tour, our accredited guides will accompany you on paths within the jungle, providing a memorable exploration while imparting knowledge on vegetation, wildlife, archaeology and the Mayan perspective of the world. Inside our bus, you will find a cooling facility filled with refreshing drinks and snacks. Our vehicles are insured for passengers and hold approval from the Guatemalan Tourism Institute. We have also been awarded the Tourist Biosecurity and Safe Travel Seals by the World Travel Tourism Council.
