Great trip with a great crew - Really enjoyable snorkeling trip with the Sea Dweller crew. The captain and first mate were professional and personable. The snorkeling at Molasses and Pickles reefs was fantastic. Sign up and check-in went very smoothly. They delivered 110% on their offer. Will definitely go with Sea Dwellers for our next Key Largo snorkeling adventure.

So much wildlife! - Guides were great! We were directed to the best coral reefs and were allowed to swim freely. There was so much wildlife and guides have ecosystem ID cards. I saw barracuda, parrotfish, dozens of corals, jellyfish, and more! The most amazing part was having dolphins follow the boat for 5 minutes! As for customer service, I had a great experience. We were called and notified of weather conditions; so, we rescheduled free of charge. Gear was great and they really ensure a good fit.

Staff were great, very... - Staff were great, very friendly and helped call out turtles and other cool marine life they spoted from the boat. I got to swim with a turtle (no touching just basking in it's glory)!

Great Adventure - Great day, would definitely plan another trip with Sea Dwellers the next time we are in the Key Largo Area. Also it best to go directly through their site to make reservations. As for the trip, we went to Molasses Reef first, it was great even with a strong current and choppy waves. Because of the current, or next location was at. Pickles Reef, hitch was a bit calmer and chalked full of fish. Great visibility and a variety of fish and a few turtles.

Great time - Great crew. Great dive. Other than waiting too long for other divers that were supposed to be on our boat but had yet to return from another trip. But our time was extended due to the late departure.

Nice family excursion - Nice staff. And the two different dive spots are interesting but we didn't see much. And a terrible seasickness when the boat was stationary

The WORST SNORKEL EXPERIENCE - The WORST SNORKELING experience of my life! I have been using Trip Advisor for years to book excursions and this is the first negative review I’ve ever written. Here are reasons why. The trip was obviously geared towards the divers who were also on the boat. There were not enough seats for the 4 hour trip and my husband and others had to stand or sit on low coolers — fine for short trip but not fine for four hours. There more people on boat than there should have been. But that’s the least of it. The water and wind conditions were rough — really rough. We had contacted company that morning to ask if they were still going out because we had heard the conditions were iffy. They said yes- no problem. Ok so we go. When we finally get out to sea, the divers go in but the choppiness isn’t a problem for them so down they go. Now the snorkel people go in and the current is crazy and the waves are slapping over us and filling the snorkel with water. There are all ages including older people and kids - young kids who are dragged off by the current. Within first 10 minutes half the snorkelers were back on boat traumatized. One little girl and her mother had to be rescued by crew and the rest of us were pretty freaked out grabbing for rope to get out of the water. So now we have to sit on the boat with minimal seating for an hour waiting for the divers. They finally come up and the crew says we are going to another spot that will be calmer. NOT! Divers go in and more than half the snorkelers stay on boat —which is rocking so badly you can’t stand and people are getting seasick. But we can’t leave because the divers are under— so we sit there for another hour. When we finally head back to the harbor with PTSD one of the crew apologizes for the rough seas saying proudly that none of the other excursions went out that day but “we did” - kind of like they were tougher. Frankly, I think they just didn’t want to lose the money for canceling . If none of the other excursions went out it was because it wasn’t safe. And it wasn’t. Also shoddy equipment — fins were falling off in the water. No one was laughing or smiling on the boat— we all just wanted to return to shore. Safety is the most important thing on trips like this. I have been snorkeling and diving many other times all over the world, am PADI certified and have never seen anything like this. It was obviously all about the money for this company. They should have cancelled like the other boats did. Honestly —when the current carried people off it was seriously scary. Find another operator or take this one at your own risk. Ok rant over. Obviously, I’m still traumatized.
