A must do!! Especially if with kids. - We went in to see what the aquarium offered. I am so glad we went in as we learned so much about the sea world. We jumped into a tour that had already started. MIKE was leading the group and did a FANTASTIC job explaining and was very welcoming to questions. If he didn’t have the answer, he was assured to get an answer in our case. It is nice to see someone take so much pride in their job. It is obvious that he cares for the fish there on a personal level. It was a great visit.

Turtles stole the show!! - The aquarium staff was amazing. The amount of knowledge was a sprinkle of humor was very impressive. It’s a small aquarium but packed with personality! I loved Spike and Lola!

Location is convenient to ship - Rainy day in Key West so we were looking for something to do— this is a nice spot but it is indoor/outdoor so plan accordingly. We enjoyed the exhibits and staff were friendly. We learned a lot in an hour.

Wonder-filled adventure - Lovely aquarium! The tanks are clean and clear for easy viewing. Hunter was our guide for the turtle tour. He spoke clearly and knowledgeably about the turtles in their care. The turtles are resues with special needs. Hunter fed one of the turtles at the end of the tour. He was so patient working with Lola to convince her to eat and take her vitamins. It was nice to see the care that is taken and the concern of staff for the animals in their care.

Expect a tiny aquarium - Disclaimer - we frequent the Georgia Aquarium so our expectations were a bit high. This aquarium is tiny. You can get tickets as a bundle with some of the other attractions on the island. We bundled with the shipwreck museum and that combination was perfect. Both take about an hour and they are across the street from each other so it turned out to be perfect. There aren't a ton of exhibits at the aquarium but they do try to enhance the experience with some short guided tours and with knowledgeable staff that will give you interesting tidbits about the history of the museum if you make small take with them.

Eh - Was disappointed with the value and overall experience. Adult tickets were like $22 while kids tickets $11. It is basically one room with two outdoor areas. You can view all exhibits in under 20 minutes. If you are in Key West, there are better options to spend your time and money on.

Don’t bother - Very little to see, run down and felt uncomfortable looking at the way in which the sea life were kept. Not worth the money, very poor
