Highlights
  • Fornells - Both at the departure and arrival of the boat ride, travelers will be able to enjoy the views of Fornells Bay, as well as stroll through its streets. Small fishing village with great gastronomic tradition.

  • Cap de Cavalleria - During the walk we will pass near Cabo de Cavalleria, where we can see its characteristic Lighthouse, one of the most peculiar and the second oldest on the island. With its cliffs more than 90 meters high, it offers a spectacular panoramic view of the north coast.

  • S’Illot des Porros - As we pass by the Cavalleria Lighthouse, we can see an islet called “Illa des Porros”, the northernmost point of the Balearic archipelago, an area of special importance and protection due to the colonies of birds and the native lizards that inhabit it.

  • Cala Viola de Ponent - Absolutely virgin cove, with limestone rock and crystal clear waters that allow you to clearly observe the seabed, and which has the peculiarity of being divided into three small areas of sand.

  • Sanitja Island - Puerto de Sanitja, an ancient natural port that was located in the Roman city of Sanisera.

  • Cala Rotja - Cala Rotja is a great option to find some peace and quiet, especially in the summer months. Its name comes from the remains of red clay that come off its stones and give it this characteristic color.

  • Playa de Cavalleria - It is one of the largest beaches on the north coast of the island. Virgin, surrounded by wild nature and always watched by the Cavalleria Lighthouse.
Here we will make the first stop of the excursion, if the sea allows it, to swim, relax and snorkel.

  • Cala Mica - Virgin beach little frequented due to its difficult access by land, fine sand with stones, which despite its great beauty, is a beach that goes unnoticed.

  • Cala Pregonda - Cala Pregonda is one of the best-known and most appreciated beaches on the north coast of Menorca, of incalculable beauty and surrounded by movie-like landscapes that form a Natural Area of Special Interest.
Here we will anchor for approximately 30 minutes and you can swim, snorkel, use our paddle surf boards or simply have a mojito relaxing on board the boat.

  • Puerto de Fornells - After many surprises during navigation, the route ends in the same place where we started, in the beautiful Port of Fornells.

Beautiful and quiet crossing - Beautiful and very well organized crossing: nature, history and water activities. Very attentive and close the dedication of the young crew. Highly recommended to enjoy the tranquility and beauty of the sea and its unique cliffs and coves of the north coast.

The Sunset Boat Trip is Amazing - Our two families (various ages) did the Sunset Boat Trip and all we can say is that it was truly magnificent! To get to our 1st stop it was an hour long trip but we had the opportunity to taste some local gin and cheese which was a welcoming surprise and accompanied by history of the island along the way, the scenery was beautiful. We anchored in a small location where we all had the opportunity to swim, snorkel, paddle board and make use of the slide. The teenagers especially loved the slide and paddle boards and there was plenty snorkel equipment to go around. Once back on board we headed off to watch the sunset which we have to say was on par to the Cafe Mambo sunset we watched in Ibiza a few years ago. The music, the atmosphere was very relaxing and you could grab yourself a beer or a cocktail and just chill. There were ice creams and snacks available for the kids too! Overall, we would definitely recommend this to all groups. The duration was perfect and the price was reasonable and worth every penny. Thank you to the Menorca Nord team for giving us a memorable experience.

Great value - Great value for money; teems and adults all enjoyed it very much. Perfect on a hot afternoon because the boat is mostly covered and you get a lovely sea breeze. Drinks and snacks are available on the boat including a slushy made of local gun and lemon Fanta (you get a free sample of this as you leave port). Plenty of snorkels available to borrow and the spot they stop at has lots of fish and big rocks to mess about on.

Our family boat trip round Menorca's northern caves and coves. - We were a large family, age range 15 months to 83 years. Everything ran smoothly from booking to boarding. The crew had no problem ensuring a great time for all, from the youngest to oldest. Lots of swimming aids, the slide and blow ups thrown in the water for the youngsters, plenty to see - and lots of fun!

Good route and tour - Lovely boat trip - get a very small taste of a drink but can buy drinks and snacks on board. Visit some lovely spots and look into some caves. Be wary at the swimming spots, they were full of jellyfish and I wasn’t aware! A nasty sting and the crew didn’t really have anything to help - even just some ice would have been nice! Nevertheless still a good boat trip just be careful if you are planning on swimming at the stops.

Lovely boat trip - Really nice boat trip around the coves of menorca. After about an hour we stopped for snorkeling for 50 minutes and it was nice that equipment was provided (snorkeling gear, paddle boards, floats). The water was crystal clear and lots of different fish to see. Then once on board the ship we had a sample of menorcan cheese and went part of the way through a cave which was a nice touch. There is a toilet on board, and a counter where you can buy hot food, drinks and ice lollies. The only negative I would say is there was not enough seats for everyone, but it may have been overbooked because due to people rescheduling, as we were booked for a different day but had to reschedule due to the weather.

HALF PACK - HALF PACK.....Positive notes the boat (quite small) but there is room for everyone...friendly staff...Negative notes...if you think you can "see" the wrong beaches up close...in in reality there is only 1 stop (about 50 minutes) in Cala Pregonda where you will swim in fantastic waters with fish and jellyfish... very fun for children too... but far from the beach... for the rest you will pass all the time on the boat and the other coves can be seen from the sea, in the distance....on the way back many people were sleeping and this is significant...
