Hipster Polar Express Fever Dream - I'm not even sure how to describe this journey, but I'll try. It was a fever dream with a short train trip, an isolated open-air bar under the stars, live music, fires, dogs, & children. Was it fun? Yes. Was it what I expected? I don't know... it was as described. My only complaints are mild ones – I didn't expect a late evening trip to a bar to be so packed with little children. I have nothing against children, but wasn't anticipating such a family-style experience. I would have appreciated a more fully stocked bar (especially considering the price of drinks!). We both decided this might be a fun trip with adult children in warmer weather, because on a cold November night, it was sort of a hipster Polar Express. Dress to be outside!

Beautiful one of a kind place to enjoy being with your people. - Stunning location and a fun ride through the forest at night under the stars. Plenty of comfy seating around fire pits and heat lamps, and a full bar. Lots of games to play and incredible live music. HIGHLY recommend.

A must see experience - This is a must see for anyone traveling to the area. We had such a great time. The live music and drinks were great. We talked with some fun people and the location was amazing. It is also dog friendly. Definitely a highlight of our time there.

Super fun time with family! - We had a great time! Nice to be able to have our grandkids with us. Lots to entertain them. Fire pits are awesome. Able to bring snacks. And we had our puppy! Pretty awesome!

Fantastic experience! - We boarded the train at 7:30. We had to wait until the 10:00 train to leave since we weren’t ready at 9:00. Next time, we will board the 6:30 so we can head back on the 9:00, as the last train back, waits for the musician and all employees. No big deal until you’re buzzed, tired and ready to get back to the hotel! I would suggest bringing a blanket and your favorite snacks. My boyfriend would like the cocktail menu to expand a bit or include draft beer choices. Overall, this was a fantastic experience and we will return!!

Fun addition to a coastal getaway with friends - This was a super fun addition to our recent girls' trip to the coast. It was a short train ride to the coolest bar in the middle of the woods. The servers were as quick as could be, but the lines definitely got long as the later trains arrived. The only bummer was that there was a private event (a wedding) that took up the majority of the fire pit areas. I had literally remarked that it would make a super fun wedding venue when we were pulling up, but the overlap of private/public access was unfortunate. It pushed all of the paying guests to the barn, which was fine (the music was great!) but a bummer to not be able to enjoy spots around the fires/use our s'more kit.

Be quick, then chill - I would have like to say at the fire pit but didn’t realize you had to run off the train and save a place. I would rather pay a lil more to “reserve” a spot

beware where you are stepping - The train ride was fun and the ambiance was great, However the porta potty s were all full. I was very shocked at the price of this adventure that the facilities were so smelly and quite full. I called the station the next day and asked how often they were emptied and the clerk gave me the email addresses of the CEO and General Manage. I did get a response from the GM saying that they will be building restrooms soon. Just thought I would share my experience because its hard to see what you are stepping into because it is very dark in there

Expensive to simply sit and drink - Based on my experience, this was expensive for the simply sitting around a fire pit, taking into account that you must buy all the drinks and still pay for the train. You can do better with that money. Stay in town and enjoy music and a bottle while eating dinner. This I would skip, especially if you did the skunk train during the day.
