Wonderful day in the woods - This fabulous tour starts at 10am sharp, heads out to a lovely, family-friendly spot where you can hike, lounge, game or relax with a drink. While the tour is parked at the end of the line, the big steam train comes in, takes a short break, and leaves. Then, the rail bikes leave again. Ample time to relax. Bring your own picnic!

It was nice to ride through the woods with a light breeze around. Our guides were helpful and knowledgeable about the railroad history in this area. Overall, it was an unforgettable experience!

The Hype is Real - The only reason my husband and I stayed in Fort Bragg was to ride the Redwoods Railbikes Along Pudding Creek, and they didn't disappoint. Even the instructional film we watched before we headed out was done very well. The Railbikes were easy to operate and the scenery was beautiful all along the way. We also liked the guided hike we took with our guide at the turnaround point. It was just a super fun experience which we both enjoyed and will highly recommend.

Awesome Way to Start the Day - A+ way to see the redwoods, more active and interesting than just riding a train out and back. My wife and I did this as part of a weekend in Mendocino county. We specifically did the early morning railbike and it was awesome. Good activity (note - legs are moving but the motors mean you don't have to work hard to get the railbikes to move), very unique, and cool / quick. Highly recommend!

Rail Bikes - The guys leading the event were amazing, great service and very knowledgeable about the history. The places we stopped for break was beautiful. We thought the ride was going to be a little longer. We got there at 12:10 as instructed but didn’t leave until after 1:20. Ticket staff was also very nice.

NOT WORTH THE $ - HIKE THE PUDDING CREEK TRAIL FOR A BETTER REDWOOD’S EXPERIENCE - NOT A WILD ADVENTURE — BE WARNED For $250/couple I expected more than I experienced. This three-hour activity is way too expensive for what you get. I imagined a two-hour ride cruising through the Redwoods. What I experienced was a half-hour ride on an electric bike (no peddling or steering required) with 4 stops to listened to our guides share local flora information. While interesting, I would have preferred to keep cruising. At the end of the half-hour we disembarked at a large be-lit party platform where we were told to either go for a hike or sit or wait for 50 minutes. We were not interested in buying cocktails at 1:30 in the afternoon. A train load of passengers joined our forest layover shortly after we disembarked. Best I can say for the stop was that it had three porta potties. The 20-minute return to the Skunk Station was thankfully without stops. Bottom line - the Redwoods Railbike Along Pudding Creek IS A HUGE RIP-OFF!
