Pedal along our historic California Western Railroad tracks while enjoying the sunshine, cool breeze, and towering redwoods amongst osprey, blue herons, river otters, ducks, geese, turtles, deer and many other animals that make their home along the Pudding Creek Estuary. Once arriving at the half-way point, Glen Blair Junction, you will have 50 minutes to get off your bike and explore the numerous hiking trails, lounge on our magnificent redwood deck, enjoy our pavilion with picnic tables and fire pits, and explore the coastal redwoods before your return 3.5 mile trip back to the depot. This is a truly unique experience and fun for all ages 6 and up.

Worth a do-over!! - We did not expect our dog to dislike the rail bike experience - our guides were super friendly and patient with his barking and got us set up to take the train ride back instead. My husband and I will definitely go back and do it again (without doggo of course) - the scenery was pretty and the activity itself definitely fun to do. The rail bikes were in great condition, easy to operate and we got clear instruction. The turnaround junction was also great for a mini hike, picnic and other activities before heading back to the depot. Definitely recommend this experience overall.

Great for all ages - WHAT A BLAST
Husband and I are 70+ don’t let age stop you. The bikes are power assisted and the track is mostly level making the 4 mile rt ride easy. The guides were great the scenery was beautiful.

Delightful & Beautiful Ride/Fun Guides - My husband and I loved this informative and really fun railbike tour along Pudding Creek and the gorgeous Redwoods! Our guides were really fun and one of them took us on a 1 mile hike at the halfway point where there's a beautiful, covered patio where you can get beverages and play games. Next time we'll book the longer railbike tour. We would definitely recommend this excursion to family and friends!!

Rail biking through the Redwoods - My husband and I had a great time on the rail bikes. Chris and Johnny made the trip fun, informative and helped us get acclimated to the rail bikes. We would highly recommend this outing for anyone who likes to do unusual outings. Our daughter and her family took the train and met us at Glen Blair Jct. Lots of great memories for our whole group.

Fun Family Adventure – Don’t Miss It! - Our family of four had a fantastic time! We have a 6 and 8 year-old, and both kids had a blast. The stop was such a treat—they especially loved playing Jenga and enjoying the picnic we brought along. The entire experience was fun, family-friendly, and very well organized. All of the staff were warm and welcoming—especially our conductor Ember! Ember was incredibly patient, kind, and knowledgeable. Highly recommend! Be sure to buy your tickets in advance—early time slots sell out quickly. And don’t forget to pack a lunch!

Weekend Adventure - The Railbike adventure was so fun. The view along the railroad was beautiful. Once at our destination we took a short hike in the Redwoods. The Railbikes are easy to use. The guides were friendly and funny. We want to do this again. Highly recommend it.

A lot of fun - This trip was an awful lot of fun. We really enjoyed the biking through the redwood forest and then the short hike with the guide. I would highly recommend this to anyone who visits Fort Bragg, California.

Fun experience, way overpriced… - Great guides, good experience but way overpriced for what it is.
You’re on a 2-person, electric assisted vehicle that you can peddle if you wish, traveling through a lovely setting for about 2 hours with a 40 minute stop midway before heading back. That’s about it.

Transparent Expectations - This experience was fine, but not worth $300. My husband and I are in our late 30s and we're pretty active.
The railbikes were awesome, but you actually go a very short distance. On the way out, we stopped a few times for some educational moments (about an hour to go 2.5 miles).
Then we arrived at their little station to take a .9mile "hike" loop.
Then we sat on their patio for an hour while they set up for a weekend event. The ride back took 30 minutes (no stops).
This event is probably better suited for older adults or folks with low fitness abilities.
I would have felt better about it if I had known what I was getting when I signed up.
Now you know. You can make an informed decision.
