Great half day hidden secrets tour with excellent guide! - I wanted to review this tour as Daniel was probably the best tour guide i have had in the Caribbean. It began months ago when i was planning this trip. Daniel corresponded with me via Whats App and we went over the various tours and what was expected. We stayed in Trois I'slets and it was a quick ferry ride to Fort de France and pickup. There were only 4 of us so it made for a great time and small intimate experience. We started at the Balata Cathedral with magnificient views of the city. We then went to a secret waterfall (Absalon i think) and were the only folks there. Daniel was great and allowed us to spend as long there as we wanted. Daniel carried extra towels so we didnt wet up his van. We then hiked up some hills with a view of the mountains on our way to the gardens. They were unbelievable and he encouraged us to smash and smell the leaves and guess what we were looking at. It became a game and we all tried to outthink the other couple. My wife loves plants and flowers and she was in heaven with all the plants and flowers in their natural habitat. We then got a massage from the waters coming off the mountains and were able to rub organic mud and wash it off our skin. Very exilerating! We then travelled to the rum factory and were able to eat some fresh mangoes while touring the facility. I would recommed this highly to any one who wants an off the beated bath tour. Well worth the time and effort! Merci encore!

A must-do if you’re exploring the island - Amazing experience and best way to see the north side of the island. It was a great mix of adventurous activities and seeing great local spots you probably wouldn’t find on your own. Daniel was a great guide and is very accommodating and knowledgeable about the history and all things plant life.

Perfect, I recommend! - Excursion provided, not only because of the sites visited but also because we observe, touch and taste everything along the way (plants, fruits... nature lovers, it's made for you). Also suitable for teenagers (my 12 year old son loved it). This type of excursion is more enriching with a guide to learn lots of things about Martinique, and he is just perfect in his role, friendly, smiling, who loves his job and sharing his knowledge. Thank you again for this beautiful day!

Book it ! Wonderful experience. Be ready to walk ! - Wonderful and adventurous! Daniel was so informative and took us to great places. We learned so much about the island and history. Water shoes that you can be active in would be best. Swimsuit for the river, clay massage and waterfall would be idea. He even provided towels but we took 2 from ship. Don’t forget snacks and water. AC vans and wifi provided. So nice to have in between locations. The flowers at botanical garden and the rum distillery were an added bonus to the adventure. He is so personable and funny! He is very communicative in expectation prior to meeting up and during the trip. We knew exactly what were were doing prior and came prepared. Smash and smell ! Easy peasy!

A beautiful and comprehensive tour of northwestern Martinique! - Definitely book this tour!!! Daniel is an amazing guide and he’s incredibly knowledgeable about all the flora and fauna in the rainforests and the botanical gardens we visited. He also provided lots of fascinating info about the rum distillery we toured and even many surprising things about Martinique itself. He was kind, professional, conscientious, patient, and he truly has a passion for what he does! The bus we traveled was very spacious and comfortable with good A/C. Also... the Beach Café, where we stopped to eat at the end of the tour was terrific and perfectly charming!

Amazing day ! - With two children aged 7 and 3 everything was great. We learned lots of things about this island and its plants and our guide was great, really great. Very attentive to our children who have not seen the time gone by. You can go there with your eyes closed! Very nice experience for those who don't have time to visit everything, go there! And even the others!

A PERFECT TOUR MADE EVEN BETTER BY DANIEL - Daniel is absolutely the most dedicated, enthusiastic and knowledgeable tour guide we have ever encountered! He is kind, helpful, compassionate and loves showing you "his" North Island secret spots. Fine tuned sense of humor and lots of interaction with him as your teacher. A terrific day that kept getting better and better as the day went on to a memorable finish. This guy is simply the best!

Tour was canceled - Viator is a convenient booking agency but the tour was canceled due to low attendance. The tour guide was very responsive and polite, so I would consider booking again during next visit to the island.
