Take in even more breathtaking sights while enjoying sweeping vistas of Fort-de-France. As you traverse La Trace Road, you’ll see bamboo, ferns and forest flora dotting your route. In Saint -Pierre, take in sights of the Alma River and The Saut Gendarme Waterfall. Your journey will culminate at the foot of the volcano where you can appreciate bay scenes from an old rum distillery and savor some Agricole-Rum made from sugar-cane juice. Explore St. Pierre, a city once destroyed by Mount Pelee and later rebuilt, which used to be a cultural-economic hub.
