- Stranahan House - Stranahan House is the home of Fort Lauderdale pioneers Frank and Ivy Stranahan. Built in 1901 as a trading post and converted into a residence for the Stranahans in 1906, the house is the oldest surviving structure in Broward County.
- Colee Hammock Park - Colee Hammock Park is a peaceful little spot on the water near Las Olas Boulevard. It is beautiful to look past the tall, old trees and shady lawn to the blue of the water beyond and the boats gliding by. Mansions line the shore of the waterway, making for a nice view. After dinner, you will be treated to an entertaining, exciting and laugh out loud variety show in our Amphitheater. Be sure to take a few minutes to tour our beautiful tropical isle with lush foliage, exotic animals, and yummy soft-serve ice cream at our gift shop. Don’t forget to visit our gift shop before you leave. At the end of the evening, you will board the ship for a beautiful and serene ride back down the New River to the Bahia Mar Yachting Center.
