Great day on water in Ft Lauderale - We loved our experience on the water taxi Started the day at shooters for breakfast. Enjoyed the afternoon at Hollywood Beach. Finished the evening at Bokampers for dinner. The staff on every taxi is very friendly. Excellent experience. Would highly recommend.

Don't Miss This Boat Trip! - What a great time! Do this early in your visit to Ft. Lauderdale to give you a good lay of the land, and experience multiple places quickly and easily. The narrators were very knowledgeable and made the trip much more interesting.

Great experience for adults and kids! - My family of 5 went on the Water Taxi with another family of 4 and had the BEST time! It was a highlight of our trip for both adults and children. It even rained most of the time and it was still a highlight of the trip for everyone! The adults loved the seeing all of the homes and our kids loved being on a boat and the various stops we made - especially feeding the fish at night!

In addition to seeing some stunning residences and yachts, this was a terrific way to unwind. - According to earlier evaluations, every captain has a distinct personality, so we got on and off. Some worked as taxi drivers, some as party hosts and DJs, and some as more tour guides. Get off at the next stop and catch the next one that passes if you don't like this one!

Long wait - We waited 1 hr 40mins for a water taxi at no. 5 last night. It is a rip off and ruined our evening. We were late for dinner and were twice told by other taxi drivers (going the other way) that there would be one along in two minutes (all lies). They didn't show any concern for us and other customers who had waited so long. We had to take road taxi back as by the time we finished dinner the water taxis had stopped running.

Hop on just DON’T get off service - What we were told vs reality was a stark contrast! The staff at the original dock said the boats come about every 45 minutes to an hours. We took a boat from stop 5 up-to 10 for lunch. After lunch we took a ride to stop #1. That’s where the experience changed….. We used the early 2000’s edition boat tracker which was delayed at best waiting for a bout at stop 1, to take us to 3. When the boat finally showed up we were told it was a private charter, to take the next boat. The next boat was an express and told to take the next boat. In all we waited about an hour and a half for a boat. The “ambassador” at stop 1 was less useful than the boat tracker. After dinner at 15th St. (Stop 3) we waited so long for a boat we decided an uber was our best bet. If you are looking for a round trip harbor cruise this might be for you. If looking to explore the area via hop on / service save yourself the aggravation and just take an uber to the stops you want to visit!

Water Taxi - What a joke!! - We bought our tickets online beforehand as you are told to do so on the website and at the stops. When we showed up we were told only 4 boats were running today so things would be slower!! We waited over an hour for the first boat to arrive!! We finally got to our destination and got off. When we were ready to get back on, we went to the stop and waited over an hour and a half and a boat never came. We ended up taking an Uber back to the hotel!! A total waste of $80!!

Very disappointing; horrible experience - We had a great dinner with clients at 15th Street Fisheries. After dinner, we planned to go on the water taxi and make a few stops on the intercoastal. Our group of 8 people waited 55 minutes for a water taxi. When they showed up, the driver told us they were closing in 15 minutes and not going the route we wanted to. The driver proceeded to pull away from the dock and told us he was glad he wasn’t taking us. As we walked back in the restaurant, the bartender and manager let us know this was common and apologized. There was another couple that had been waiting that complained to them as well. My group was with travel advisors and we were referred through industry contacts. We will be advising them of our experience as they’re with Visit Lauderdale. I was touring this group and work for a media company covering the travel trade. It was a poor showing by two employees that left a lasting impression on our group. All the advisors said they would never book the product. The water taxi won’t be part of future plans when in Ft. Lauderdale. Very disappointing experience.

Just Uber. Or use a different service. - My group of 10 with 2 little kids was left stranded 2 different times. Water taxi took us to one of their stops then would not pick us up for over a hour. We had 2 car seat age kids. Half the group had to Uber twice, the other half with the kids had to walk a total of 5 miles. Now can't get anyone to answer phone/call me back for refund. ALL times on their "track a boat" feature are wrong and so misleading. Do not trust this service! Absolute garbage.
