Perched on a prairie hill, the interpretive center at Head-Smashed-In Buffalo Jump offers a view of the site where the main food source and lifestyle were driven over the edge to their demise. The fall of the bison provided nourishment and influenced every aspect of the Plains people’s existence. Bison were essential for clothing, survival during harsh winters, and protection from the severe prairie conditions. - Bison Paddock Loop Road - This scenic route leads to traditional prairie landscapes where Bison graze on the rough fescue. Bison are often visible within the paddock below the Overlook.

- Longview - Longview is a village in southern Alberta, Canada, located in the foothills of the Canadian Rockies on Cowboy Trail, 32 km west of High River and 64 km south of Calgary. The Highwood River flows west of the village.

The Hidden Secrets of Waterton Lakes National Park
The Red Rock Parkway travels 15 km up the Blakiston Valley through rolling grasslands and ends at Red Rock Canyon and the Akamina Parkway is a winding mountain road that starts in the Waterton townsite and runs 16 km along the Cameron Valley, ending at Cameron Lake which borders Montana.
