Hike and wrap around experience - The 7 day Rwenzori Mountains hike is not to be missed, though not for the faint hearted it is thoroughly rewarding to see the natural landscapes - remaining glaciers, alpine lakes, flora and fauna. We saw the endemic three horned chameleon and rhino chameleon, and made it to the summit of Margherita peak thanks to the guiding team assembled by Enoch. Emmanuel was point of contact from start to finish, coming with drivers John and Johnson for pickup from Mutukula - Tanzania Border, and to and from the hike starting point. So the wrap around transfers and accomodation and meals were all well organised and comfortable. Equipment supplied (we had most of our own) was adequate but if you are have extremely large or small feet you may want to ask to purchase/bring your own gumboots. Our guiding team consisted of Chief Guide Ezra, Guide Dez, Chef Bruno, Assistant Chef Cosmas, Ranger Bright, porters Richard, Edwin, Gilbert, Rhys. They were extremely supportive and made our trip very fulfilling and enjoyable, guiding us to the peak in dark foggy conditions.

Centra Circuit Trek with Margherita climb and Bwindi Impenetrable Forest - I had an amazing trip with Emmanuel and his team trekking the Rwenzori mountains via the Central Circuit for 7 days, climbing Peak Margherita, doing a game drive in Queen Elizabeth National Park and finally tracking the mountain gorillas in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. The trekking team was professional, helpful, fun, always making sure Hanna and myself were always enjoying and being safe. Big thanks Joel and John for guiding us and being always next to us ready to help. After the trek we drove with Emmanuel and John all the way to Bwindi, and I cannot be more thankful for all the attention, amazing service and fun experience. Big thanks Emmanuel and hope to be back soon to Uganda.

Fantastic trip with very realiable local enterprise - Ema and John organized a truly wonderful and memorable trip for me. I arrived via Entebbe and was transferred to the Rwenzori Mountains by car, while they explained the landscape to me. At the mountains, I was transferred into the responsibility of the local guides. With me were 4 porters, 1 chef and 1 guide, so I was well taken care of. Starting from day 2, the hike gets pretty tough due to mud and altitude. However, the amazing views and changing scenery are well worth the struggle. Who wants to get higher up needs a bit of courage and a good motivation, as it can be a hard climb at times. Physically, however, you don't need to be a trained mountaineer. If you plan to summit, it helps a lot if you have some climbing experience though (for example from bouldering). I also strongly advise to bring enough warm clothing / many layers, as the nights can get pretty cold. After the hike, John and Ema took me to several other locations, i.e. a boat toor on a canal, chimpanzee and gorilla trekking. These were all really wonderful experiences and I enjoyed them very much. Overall, I am very happy to have booked my expedition with Trek Rwenzori, which has shown to be very reliable and flexible in the planning of my trip and any spontaneous adjustments I wanted to do. This young local enterprise is well worth your trust and support and will enable you to create outstanding memories of your time in Uganda.

Trek Rwenzori Tours, the perfect organisation !!! - We booked all our trip from France directly with Emmanuel of Trek Rwenzori Tours. It was the best choice we did. In fact, they picked us directly at the airport and all the trip was perfectly organised: Trekking to Margherita Peak, Safari, Chimpanzee adventure, Rhino experience, hot spring, crater lakes and rafting, accommodations, food, water… Emmanuel is very kind, helpful and always do what he says without surprises. We share marvellous moments with him and his team (a good thought to Johnson). I DO RECOMMEND !

Great adventure in Rwenzori Mountains - Great experience in Rwenzori Mountains! the whole trip - trekking and safari - was perfectly organized by Emmanuel, who I'd contacted a couple months before visit in Uganda; all staff on the trekking (guides, chef, porters) was professional, helpful and friendy and made it nice, safe and anyway a great adventure; also problems with a flight one day delay didn't make any problems - thanks to Emmanuel everything was reorganized quickly and we could go on with the programme.

Beautiful Uganda and Margarita Peak Experience - We booked directly with Emmanuel and were picked up by him and a driver. They had organised all hotels, transfers and also picked the company (Rwenzori Trekking Services) for the summit trekking. The trek is a not - to - be - underestimated 7 day hike trough dense bush and bog in rubber boots, but the guides and porters will do anything they can to help the guests achieve the goal of reaching the summit. After the trek, Emmanuel had organised a wonderful safari and chimpanzee trekking adventure. They brought us back to the airport well fed and full with memories of beautiful Uganda!!! Thank you so so much!!
