Journey to Kibale National Park
Kibale Forest National Park - Departing at 8am, the drive to Kibale National Park includes several stops for restroom breaks and takeaway coffee.
Amabere Ga Nyina Mwiru Caves - Upon reaching Fort Portal town, a visit to the Amabere Caves is planned. A brief hike will reveal the caves, formed by waterfalls resembling breasts, which is the origin of their local name. Afterwards, proceed to the lodge for check-in and an overnight stay.
Chimpanzee Tracking
Kanyanchu Visitor Center - At 6am, breakfast is served, followed by a 7am departure to the Kibale chimpanzee tracking site. A briefing will be provided, and participants will be assigned to a group.
Bigodi Wetlands Sanctuary - After relaxing at the lodge, a guided swamp walk at Bigodi is scheduled. This offers an opportunity to observe additional primates, such as the colobus, and includes a coffee farm tour.
Return to Kampala
Kampala - At 9am, following breakfast, check-out is completed, and the journey back to the lodge in Kampala or Entebbe begins.
Uganda Equator - A stop at the equator in Kayabwe is planned for a photoshoot and craft shopping, before continuing the drive to the lodge.
