Kibale Forest National Park - The adventure kicks off with a drive to Southern Uganda, home to Kibale National Park. During a stop in Fort Portal town for lunch, there will be an opportunity to explore the ‘Amabere ga nyina mwiru’ caves, the Karambi royal tombs, and Omukama’s palace. Upon arrival at the park, there will be time to relax before embarking on a guided nature walk in Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary.
Kanyanchu Primate Walk – Chimp Trekking – Bird Watching Excursion
Kibale Forest National Park - The day’s main adventure is the Kanyanchu primate walk, a guided exploration of the park’s 13 primate species. The highlight will be a chimpanzee trekking experience, where one can encounter a habituated chimp family and observe various monkey species. In the afternoon, a bird watching excursion along the boardwalk trail and viewing platforms in Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary will take place, home to over 138 bird species.
Community Visit – Return to Kampala – Conclusion of Safari
Airport Transfer Entebbe - The morning begins with a village walk, followed by a journey back to Kampala in the early afternoon. Enjoy a scenic drive through the picturesque countryside, featuring steep terraces, rugged hills, and expansive tea plantations. The safari concludes when the guide drops off at a chosen location in the capital.
