Worth the $ - I had never done an escape room be side it sounded claustrophobic to me but I REALLY enjoyed it! Plus they told us the door was never locked which made me feel better. Staff was friendly and fun. My 82 year old mom and my teenage daughter and I all had a great time 😊

One of the Best Escape Rooms I've Done! - This was one of the best escape rooms I've done! Lots of attention to detail, with a great story, clever props and imaginative puzzles. The staff at Secret Chambers were GREAT, too (dressed in character and with an old-west accent!), making it a 100% positive experience. I will definitely be back to explore more of their rooms!

Great Fun - We have done several of their rooms at the Fort Worth and Arlington locations. This week a group of us did the Train Heist for my birthday. It was fantastic. Exciting and tricky with great puzzles. We enjoyed the interaction with the host. All in all, a great time!

The Bandits WON!! - There was a reservation snafu but the great staff allowed us to play in the arcade while waiting. The train heist was super fun and challenging. My 4 kids had a great time. YES!! We did rob the train and make out with the loot with 1 minute to spare!!

Not bad, not good either. - Our family has done about a dozen escape rooms. This was our least favorite experience to date with escape rooms. It was the most expensive one we’ve done ($150-155) for 4. Good-clean place and location. Staff up front nice and pleasant. Bad- the traps/mechanisms themselves felt unnatural. I.e. at other escape rooms, there is a satisfying click when you do something immediately. In our experience, when you do something there was a delay of 5-10 seconds “then” something would happen, making us believe that the eye in the sky (game warden?) was watching and saying, “Good enough” and pressed a button in his control room. I can’t explain it better than that, we just all noticed this. Way too many rules/explaining before starting. Keep it short, to the point. Ugly- price. I have a hard time believing charging $37-40/person is a viable return on investment. Offer a buy one get half off, or every 10 visits gets a free one. Second, the host was so quick to get us out when time expired (we failed). A quick 1-2 minute, here’s how to solve the puzzle you were struggling with for 10 minutes” would’ve been nice. It’s like she couldn’t spare 1-2 minutes. We didn’t like that.

The Train Heist Revisited - This was an interesting adventure for a family with 2 teens. Thankfully they were much better at this than their parents. The clues aren’t obvious and we didn’t solve the mystery. Probably won’t find this kind of activity again.

Disappointing Experience - While we enjoyed ourselves, we were disappointed in the experience. The puzzles aren’t triggered in any way. The staff observes via a camera and opens the next box when they see you complete a clue. We were cut short on our time by almost twenty minutes. The staff was not engaged, and they seemed more interested in getting us out of there than anything.
