Gather at APT Cinquale, from where you will abandon the e-bikes for a brief walk on the seaside. Just 50 meters away are the Forte dei Marmi Dunes, a protected area home to pristine vegetation under the care of the WWF, where expert Gianluca will guide you. Return to the APT and mount the e-bikes, traveling the Via Romantica along the Versilia river until reaching Lake Porta, another WWF protected enclave, where Antonio, a self-taught ornithologist and birdwatching enthusiast, will introduce you to the local and migratory species that inhabit the lake.
Allow an hour and a half for this visit, followed by an enjoyable tour of the Versilia golf course. Your route will then take you via Padre Ignazio da Carrara towards Vittoria Apuana, where a refreshing coffee or a delightful aperitif, depending on the time, awaits you at the fourth Platano bar.
The tour concludes with a return to the APT Cinquale.
