Amazing views and colors - It was great to spend the time with Nilsa and her team. Everyone was very knowledgeable and helpful and therefore we got a lot of information while saving quite some time. I‘d like to point out, that Nilsa was very flexible with creating an itinerary tailored to our wishes. The Waterfalls are amazing. While it‘s not very cheap, I‘d definitely recommend to visit both sides (Argentinian & Brazilian) as they offer very different views! The boat trip was great fun - to be honest it‘s more for the action, the view is better from the trails. For visiting Itaipu power plant no guide is needed, just take a taxi to the visitor center. One of my personal highlights was the bird park with all its shiny colors - make sure not to skip that as it‘s on the way to the falls anyway!

100% recommend. - Cris was our guide who was the nicest tour guide you could honestly meet. She always kept us up to date of what was happening and gave us tips in terms of what her recommendations were for the falls. She took so many lovely photos for us. The boat trip took longer than expected when we went into the falls and Cris made every effort to bring us to the best spots for photos after our delay. We had great conversations with her and she gave us so much information about the area. She went above and beyond for us and even patiently waited for us while we went to the atm, visited some shops etc. I would 100% recommend Cris. You will be extremely lucky to spend your two days with her. So enjoyable. What a fantastic trip with great memories. Thank you Cris!

Iguazu Argentina & Brazil - Our Guide Adriano is incredible! He is so knowledgeable about the plants and birds in Iguazu. We had the private tour which was well worth the money because we tailored our trip. Adriano is friendly and informative without it being too much. We did both Brazil and Argentina in the one day tour and we highly recommend!!!

For 1 full day to Iguaçu Falls with no stress, Nilsa will handle it all! - My brother and I had one full day two nights to visit Iguaçu Falls. We really wanted to visit both sides and do the boat tour. Many reviews online said this was going to be very difficult. Nilsa made our experience a breeze! She promptly picked us up at our hotel at 7:30. We visited the Argentina side of the falls. Walking with us and sharing information for about half of the walk and allowing us to walk on our own take photos by ourselves the other half. We did both the lower and upper circuits (devils throat was closed during our visit). We then made our way back to the air conditioned van around 11 to make our way to the Brazil side of the falls. We were through the boarder under 5 minutes without having to get out of the van. Nilsa helped us purchase the boat tickets and park entry tickets once we arrived to the park entrance. My brother and I spent the next 90 minutes walking the Brazil side paths. Nilsa met us at the top of the elevator. Showed us lunch options and helped us find a seat at the restaurant. Around 3 we made our way to Macuco Safari. Again Nilsa explained what to expect and things we should take with us vs leave in the car. We had an absolutely incredible time. We are both experienced travelers but the ease of having Nilsa navigate the transfers, tickets, paths and translation for us was priceless. Plus she is the sweetest sole that we enjoyed talking with. 15 years of experiences and friends with many of the guides and park staff. She truly wants all her guests to have a memorable time! I will be recommending her to anyone visiting Iguaçu Falls.

Great experience - Nilsa was a great guide and made the whole day a very easy and enjoyable experience. With her help we were able to see both the Argentinian and Brazilian side of the spectacular Iguazu falls in the same day. Note for American tourists; starting April 10th, 2024 American tourists will need a visa to visit Brazil.

Iguazú Falls Argentina-Brazil - I had a fantastic time! Day one started being picked up at the Iguazú Falls airport where after a short drive we met up with Adriano at the Falls (Argentinian side. He expertly guided us through the lower and upper trails. Lots of great pictures were taken. At the end of the falls tour he escorted us across the border into Brazil to our hotel in Foz de Iguazú. Day 2 started with Nilsa meeting us at the hotel and driving us to the Falls trails on the Brazil side. Again it was as great walk and you are up close and personal with the falls. In the afternoon we attended the Bird Sanctuary located right across the street. There we had a nice leisurely walk through looking at the lovely birds and plants. Day three we toured by bus the Itaipu hydro dam, followed by a small city tour and a light lunch. After lunch Nilsa drove us to the airport where we said our goodbyes. Overall it was a wonderful three day tour… thank you Nilsa and Adriano.

3 day tour is a must! - I really enjoyed this tour. The relationship with our tour guide started upon enquiring about booking and the services available. The response was prompt and Nilsa was able to answer any of my questions. We started off getting picked up at the Argentina side Iguazu airport and driven to the park on the Argentina side where we were warmly created by Nilsa’s partner, Adriano, who personally toured us around the park and guided us on the best routes to take and was a wealth of knowledge of the park as we enjoyed the beautiful park. Transportation to the Brazilian side was no issue at the border and he dropped us off at our hotel. The next morning, pick up time was at our convenience and we went to the see the Brazil side of the falls. What an experience! You must see both sides! Since this side takes less time, we went to the bird sanctuary next door to the park. What a perfect accompaniment to the falls! End of the day was good with a hotel drop off. We extended our stay to a third day, which we are glad we did! So on the last day, Nilsa planned a special itinerary of going to the hydro dam, Buddhist temple and a lunch before taking our afternoon fly back. These were some really nice highlights that most people would not have added. If you are looking for a personalized tour with excellent communication and personal then this is the tour for you.

Not good value for money… Would not recommend… - For us, this tour was average - it wasnt awful, but it wasnt amazing either… For the price, I cant recommend it. Positives: logistics were good, communication in advance of the tour was clear, quick response times; guide/driver arrived on time, car was clean and in good condition, driving was good and safe; guide/driver checked in on us regularly (how we are doing, how we are feeling, what we want to do next, etc.), and helped with all border crossing logistics. Trying to manage both parks in one day with public transport would have been complicated and stressful, so having a private driver/guide was appreciated. Negatives: 1) Park entrance is not included in the price - which is fine, we knew that already - but what we werent told beforehand is that tickets can be bought online in advance. If we were told that, we would have done it, and saved ourselves 30 minutes waiting in line in the hot sun… 2) The guide didnt tell us much that wasnt basic, general information that we could have read by ourselves online… Some questions we asked, to try to have deeper understanding, he couldnt provide good, detailed answers… On the way back to the hotel, he was pointing out things like a chinese restaurant… This was not the kind of “guiding” we were expecting for the tour price… 3) We had a bus to catch from Ciudad del Este that night and we almost missed it because the guide told us there was a one hour time difference between Brazil and Paraguay, when in fact there was not! Apart from the stress this created, it also made us question how much of anything he told us was accurate… In summary, I cannot say the tour is good value for money or worth the price… Hiring a taxi driver for the day would have been much cheaper and mostly provided the same service… Also we booked in advance because we were unfamiliar with travelling in South America - the cities and towns where major tourist sites are full of travel agencies offering similar things, so competition is fierce - you will always find something cheaper in person when you are there compared to what you will find online in advance, dont worry!
