Felt like popping up at other sides of the world - If you have more time in Foz and you want to see more than the falls or Itaipú Dam, this is for you. I spent here three weeks volunteering in a hostel so I had a chance to see everything around here. The Foz do Iguacu City Tour takes you on a bus ride to the three most important places around the city - monument at the triple border, a muslim mosque and a Buddhist Temple. There is no rush and you have enough time to see and enjoy all three attractions where the bus takes you. Our guide, I wish I remembered her name, was very nice and fluent in English, Spanish and Portuguese and told us a lot about the history of the falls, the city and some fun facts about Alberto Satos Dumot and the hard beginning of the aviation in Foz. If you spend more time in Foz and you actually want to learn something about its history and culture, this is definitely for you. Bring repelent, there are bugs at the Buddhist Temple. The time I visited, the triple border monument was closed, it's under construstion.

Trippin Brasil - We had a blast at foz do iguaçu is a beautiful place, do the macuco safari tour, is totally worth it, bring your go pro and repelent, be careful about the coatis as they still your food; every view is beautiful there! The falls are amazing buuut you have to do both Brasil and Argentina. Bad thing: if you dont ask for your change they will keep it so dont be afraid of asking for your change back.

We were little concerned about the scheduled drop time as it was cutting close to our time to depart for airport. Bus picked us on time and we made it well within the drop time so overall good experience. Giving it 4 stars as we were expecting to be able to tour the Mosque but were just shown from outside.</p>

Wish there was more - Although our tour guide did their best to translate, most of the time they were speaking in Spanish or Portuguese, so it was hard to understand as an English speaker. Also, the location we went to for the Three Points was not open with much to do or see. I probably would not recommend this trip.

Not user-friendly - We booked this tour online and received a confirmation email that was not particularly clear about the meeting time. Unlike our experience with other tour operators in Foz do Iguacu which contacted us the day before the tour, the tour operators provided no further information. It was only with the help of our hotel receptionist that we learnt of the meeting time. The official guide that accompanied us in the bus was informative, and it was a good way to see the city. But some of the tour was left to the caretakers of the locations we visited (Buddhist Temple, Mosque). The caretaker of the mosque did not speak a word of English, so as non-Portuguese speakers, we missed out on a good 15 minutes of the tour.

Okay tour - It was a quick, but history filled tour where we received explanations for why buildings existed. Most of the time was spent at the religious sites (the mosque and Buddhist temple-30 mins each?). We also got to see views of the "friendship" circle, where Argentina, Paraguay and, Brazil meet via the Paraná. It was only 2 hours and I was mostly underwhelmed. Iguaçu is a sleepy town with not a lot to partake in outside of the waterfalls (not included).
