This incredible tour offers an unforgettable view formed by the immense group of waterfalls of Foz do Iguaçu. Once inside the park, the van or bus will drive until you reach the trails and walkways that face the falls. We will walk from 40 minutes to 1 hour on the trails and walkways facing the falls on the Brazilian side and with panoramic views of the Argentine side.
- Macuco Safari - The adventure begins at the entrance to the Macuco Safari, located 25 kilometer down Cataratas Highway inside Iguassu National Park. Board open jeep-towed wagons that allow for an unobstructed view of the scenery along the trail. During the stretch of three kilometers through the jungle, multi-lingual guides will point out examples of the flora and fauna of the Park.
Orchids, palm trees, bromeliads, centenarian trees, and even wild animals that occasionally cross the trail are pointed out by the guides.
- Iguazu Falls - On a stretch of 600 meters, there is a hike on a trail that leads to a waterfall called “Macuco Falls”. The waterfall spills down from a height of approximately 20 meters. Access is via a stairway carved into the ancient rock. Make your way down on a short drive on an open-top jeep to reach the last stop, the docks on the Brazilian side of Iguassu River.
In the water, inflatable bi-motor boats await us. They´re constructed to withstand the rigors of the excursion, as well as being secure and efficient vessels. Before embarkation, passengers receive life-vests and plastic containers in which to protect photographic and filming equipment. The boat travels up-river passing the canyon facing the rapids at a speed that allows for scenic viewing.
Rainbows, blue sky, mist and water in abundance punctuate the spectacle whose high-point is the “The Three Musketeers”. Here the captain maneuvers the boat in order to get close enough to provide the passengers with a quick and refreshing shower.
