Wonderful 2-Day Excursion to Iguazú Falls - We had the great pleasure of being guided through both sides of Las Cataratas by Cristian. Cristian was an absolutely wonderful host with a wealth of knowledge about the nature, the history and the culture of the waterfalls and its surroundings. We came away from the 2-day excursion feeling totally inspired, and confident in saying this has been one of the highlights of our trip. I can highly recommend this excursion to anyone who wants to dive deep into the richness of Iguazú. Muito obrigado, Cristian!

A wonderful two days and a great way to see Iguazu Falls and surrounds - We can only say good things about our two-day experience of Iguazu Falls and surrounds, guided by Douglas of CaFalls. We don't normally go on guided tours but booked this one because we only had two days and wanted to maximise the use of our time. This was a good decision because Douglas' guiding added immensely to our enjoyment of our time at Iguazu and greatly enhanced our experience in all sorts of ways. CaFalls planned an itinerary for the two of us but Douglas was a great guide and listener who checked out what we were interested in and, as a consequence, added in a couple of extra things - the bird park was fantastic! We always felt comfortable on our tour: Douglas was patient when we walked slowly and when we spent a long time looking at the (extraordinary) falls. He was great to talk to, very knowledgeable about lots of things, made sure we passed through gates etc without having to wait for ages, and was quite clearly mindful of our wellbeing. Having spent these two days with CaFalls we can only say that this was money very well spent - we had such a great experience at a reasonable cost and we fitted in so many more interesting things to do than we ever could have if we had made the arrangements for ourselves during our two days at Iguazu Falls. We very highly recommend CaFalls and Douglas!

Sensational 2 days. Trip of a lifetime - Absolutely sensational trip to see the falls. Cristian was very knowledgeable & interesting. We all love him! Whilst the trip can be done independently of a tour guide, to have the knowledge of where to go and when & background information is brilliant. The waterfalls are without doubt the most beautiful place I have ever seen.

A wonderful three days touring Iguacu and Paraguay - We spent 3 days with Cristian and his company visiting Iguacu Falls on both the Argentine and Brazil side and a day in Paraguay. Cristian was quick to identify what we were hoping to do and scheduled the tours to meet our goals. Cristian was very knowledgeable about the Falls and was able to ensure we always had the best view of the Falls. Cristian was able to get us across the borders with no problems and very quickly. We highly recommend Cristian and his company.

Overall OK, but some room for improvements - We booked this tour several months in advance and communication with the provider was a little sparse. First morning of the tour things got off to a terrible start when they sent a non-English speaking local taxi driver to collect us from the hotel. This guy had no name board or other confirmation of our details and we had not been pre-warned of this arrangement. Once we met our guide at the Brazilian border, the situation improved. We got taken to the Bird Park first (additional charge payable), which was very good and something we would probably have missed if we had not done this tour. We were also offered the option of a 10-minute helicopter flight for USD 200 each, but we were not interested. The Iguazu Falls are extremely impressive and photogenic from both sides, though the Argentine side involves substantially more walking in hot, humid conditions and is not as well organised as the Brazilian side. Our youngish guide spoke good English and was pleasant enough, but seemed to be in a rush and kept walking ahead of us when we needed to stop to take a photo or some water. I did feel he was judging our fitness and age rather than trying to help us get the best out of what was, for us, a once-in-a-lifetime experience. He did provide some info as we were visiting the falls, but not as much about the local flora, fauna etc, as I would have expected from a professional "guide": more like he was just escorting us through the various stages. A private tour is a good idea if you have limited time and want the most comfortable and fast way of getting around and through the border. I deducted one star for the bad communication regarding the Day 1 hotel pick-up and another for the guide rushing us too much.
