Most wonderful experience - This your was superb, everything was perfect, well planned from the moment that we were picked up at the hotel. Our guide was very knowledgeable and visiting the Iguazú falls from the Brazilian side gives you a great panoramic perspective. Our guide suggested that we do the helicopter ride. What an amazing experience to be able to see the river and the falls from the air!! I would not hesitate to take this for again next time!

Great Falls - The guide was great (Arlete) and we saw spectacular views of the falls. Private transportation from Argentina to Brazil make life vey easy.

Iguazu Falls from Brazilian side - We had a wonderful time with Arlete! She was our tour guide and a driver for our trip to Iguazu Falls at Brazilian side. I will start with this - she came to our hotel 15 min. earlier. The car was in a perfect conditions, we crossed the border very quickly . During the trip at the Iguazu Falls she was our photographer and tour guide. She is very professional. With her help we did an excellent private helicopter tour over the Falls. After that she took us to a city tour and we could enjoy the beautiful city of Foz do Iguaçu with nice streets, the Cathedral and some of the neighbourhoods. The new bridge, which will connect Paraguay and Brazil. And we finished with visiting the 3 borders point, where Brazil, Argentina and Paraguay's borders meet. There we enjoyed some drinks and nice Brazilian coffee for the end of our excellent trip. Thank you, Arlete!

You Must See the Falls from Both Sides - Our guide, Arlete, picked the four of us up at the lobby of the Gran Meliá Hotel in the Argentine National Park about 8 am, and drove us to the Brazilian National Park in a private car to see Iguazú Falls from another perspective. In my opinion, the Falls are much more dramatic when viewed from the Brazilian side, however they are further away until one nears the Devil's Throat. The highlight was walking out to the observation point on a raised walkway above the river and staring up at the volume of water coming over the Falls. Arlete walked the one-way trail with us from the trailhead in front of the Belmond Hotel to the elevators near the observation point, and described the various waterfalls along the way. We felt more comfortable with a guide to shepherd us through immigration as we crossed the border back and forth. It's best to view the Falls from the Brazil side in the morning light for the best photos. For this reason, we chose this particular tour because it went directly to the Falls and did not stop at any other attractions on the way, which might have delayed our arrival at the Falls until the afternoon. It made for good day trip.

Private driver, not private Tour - This experience is not as described!!! Listed as a private tour, approximately 7 hours and all it was was a private driver who provided about 3 sentences of information about the park. Based on "private tour" experiences of the past, a guide is with you pretty much the entire time, providing information, maybe taking some pictures, etc. Our guide picked us up from our hotel 1 hour later than tour indicates when booked (email was provided in advance of new pickup time), we were driven to the park entry (we could have walked there), we purchased our ticket, then met the driver on the other side of the gate to be driven to the start of the trail. There is a free park shuttle we could have easily taken. Driver took 1 photo for us, then said he would move the car and meet us on the trail. We ended up walking the entire trail ourselves and found him at the end by the waterfall waiting for us. We were told "we took a long time." Really???? It's our day and nothing was long about it. From there, he would have normally driven us back to our hotel, but we requested to stay in the park as we wanted to do a boat ride since we finished so early. We had to sign off we agreed to be left in the park and not be returned to original place of pick up. He did show us where to catch the bus for a return. Way to expensive as he basically did nothing for the day for us, other than be our driver. Save your money!
