Alsace is a charming and humbling wine region of France loaded with history and its own unique cooler climate wine and rustic cuisine. The wine route passing through charming quaint villages and rolling vineyards set against a back drop of the Vosges mountains speckled with castle ruins.
When it comes to wine get thirsty for ripe Riesling, opulent pinot gris and amazing price quality sparkling Cremant.
For food it’s about tarte flambé and sausage hot pot and great farm to table eating from a rich source of local farms
One this grape fuelled adventure we will visit 2 wineries for tatsing, stroll through old town Strasbourg and find a winestube / wine tavern for lunch
