A beautiful immersion into Alsatian wine and culture. - We spent a delightful day with Stephane while exploring the Alsatian wineries and countryside. While traveling from Strasbourg into the countryside, Stephane provided us with a brief geological, cultural and political history of the region so that the wines, language and culture would be more meaningful. We stopped in one village to see a gorgeous Baroque cathedral and then continued on to the Archillee winery, where we toured the barrel room before tasting several varieties of delicious wine. While en route to the delightful town of Riquewihr, we drove to the top of hill to see the largest castle in the region. Our final stop was the Dopff winery for delicious samples of Cremont sparkling wine and regional Rieslings. The day was a highlight of or three week trip. Read less

Couldn't have been better!! - We used Stephan's tour company for a private tour of Alsace. It had Christophe for our guide/driver and we couldn't have been more impressed with the service. Christophe was a gem, telling us the history of the area, and personal information relevant to the tour as well. He was downright giddy when he found great, easy parking spots and loved pointing out all the different stork nests. 10/10 would love this personalized tour of the little villages in Alsace with wine tasting in Riquewihr. I know we sure did!

Worth it! - Well organized!! Took all recommendations which were amazing had one of the most perfect days of my life! Very knowledgable about the area! Christophe was great! Patient kind, listened to all request, ares for kids and adults to hv fun!! Car sears worked out well too, amazing convenient door to door of each area, did so much in one day, with three kids and four adults, my sister and I‘s family. Never would have been able to do that on own. Well worth it and super fun! Normally do not write reviews but this was really awesome! Also my husband forgot his sunglasses in the car and they met us in the city the next day ! Wow just hope to be able to come back and do some more touring with this company 11/10!

Do this private day trip! - Christoph was an excellent guide for our day in Alsace. The haute Koeningberg Castle was amazing and the fairytale village of Riquewhir, which is the basis of scenery for Disneys Beautify and the Beast, so beautiful. We also enjoyed the wine tasting and charcuterie, and a visit to Colmar.

Christophe was phenomenal! - We wanted to be able to visit the villages WE wanted to see and this tour was exactly as advertised and more. We chose to go with a full day tour and Christophe, our guide/driver, over-delivered! He never rushed us but still managed to get us everywhere we wanted to see and added a few he thought we would love. He is very knowledgeable about the area and was extremely patient, kind and helpful as one of the four of us uses a walker and was very limited on her ability to keep up. We were thrilled when he joined us for lunch and encouraged us to try one of the local favorites. I would request Christophe if booking this tour; you won't be disappointed!

The best experience I've had - What a wonderful adventure! This tour team really sets themselves apart with every aspect of the experience. First, they were in constant communication so we never felt nervous about our meeting time and location, which is important when you're in a strange country/city. Our driver, Christophe, was genial and warm and happy to chat. He was engaged and curious throughout the trip. The Tesla itself was a very clean and comfortable ride! We shared that we would like to grab a quick lunch on our way to the destination, so Christophe brought us to a beautiful small town to grab sandwiches and snacks from a local patisserie. We walked a short distance to a park overlooking the river and he surprised us with a bottle of Crémant, the local specialty, that we enjoyed as we ate and watched beautiful swans swimming by. Stephane listened to what we hoped to accomplish and went above and beyond by connecting us with a villager in the town we were going to visit. Beatrice was warm and friendly and full of history to share about her special village! She spoke only French, so Christophe translated for us (and helped me practice my French). Stephane shared our goals with Beatrice who did her own research on our family and showed us the home of our ancestors (their names still inscribed from the 1800s!). She walked us through the village with kindness and patience. Reconnecting with our family roots may have seemed like a moonshot, but Stephane and his team made it into a reality and we will never forget this experience. Run, don't walk, if you need a personalized guided experience in the region!

More than 5 Stars! - We had an amazing day with Christophe in a beautiful Model X Tesla! My husband and I did the tour with our adult son. Christophe is such a nice person to be with and so accommodating. The tour was custom designed to appeal to what we like, but we were very open to exploring this area of France. I think I gave some general ideas and this tour absolutely exceeded expectations! We were able to have a delicious coffee in a precious village, see a castle, tour a winery with a wine tasting and see some lovely villages and scenery. We packed a lot in one day, but never felt rushed. It would have been nearly impossible for us to have researched this area and planned it ourselves. Can’t recommend this tour enough! We will definitely use this tour company again when we return to this area. Let them know what you are looking for and they will take care of you.
