Rebecca Ruth Candy Tours & Museum - Established in 1919 by Rebecca Gooch and Ruth Booe, Rebecca Ruth Candy came into existence a year before women gained the right to vote. Ruth Booe is credited with creating Bourbon Ball Chocolates. The company remains family-owned and operated. This is where the tour begins and ends. The tour includes the exterior and public areas of the Gift Shop. Guided Tours of Rebecca Ruth are available for an additional fee.
Daniel Boone Burial Site - Our guide will take you to the scenic resting place of Daniel and Rebecca Boone. Daniel Boone is famous for pioneering the route to the Wild West through the Cumberland Gap. Situated on a high hill, this site provides a perfect spot for a selfie with a panoramic view of downtown Frankfort and the Kentucky Capitol Building.
Old State Capitol - Selfie Opportunity: Our guide will highlight the Greek Revival architecture of the Old State Capitol Building and the assassination site of William Goebel. This location features a beautiful public space with a historic fountain and a downtown shopping district. The tour includes only the exterior public grounds.
Liberty Hall Historic Site - Stop for a selfie in front of this stunning historic site. You’ll walk along the herringbone brick sidewalk, stepping back in time to the era of the Brown Family. The tour includes the exterior and public grounds of this site. Interior guided tours are available for an additional fee.
New Capitol Building - Selfie Opportunity: Our bus will stop for photos at this impressive building and its grounds. It is considered one of the most beautiful state capitol buildings. The tour includes the exterior and public grounds. Interior guided tours can be purchased separately.
