- Schloss Heidelberg - Day tour to the beautiful city of Heidelberg, this historically old city on the Neckar is visited by millions of visitors from all over the world every year.\nAfter about 1 hour drive there we will visit Heidelberg Castle.\n\nIn our tour we will show you the famous castle from Heidelberg, which has a historical history. The whole structure, the castle and the courtyard impress with their ruins and construction. The castle is several centuries old and offers a wonderful view over the city from its huge terrace. Here you are looking at one of the largest wine barrels in the world.\n- Heidelberg - After visiting the castle we walk through the medieval center to the old bridge and the Karlstor, the Renaissance house to the knight, the Heiliggeistkirche.\nWe drive about 1 hour back to the meeting point.

Post the castle tour, we’ll continue our journey through the old city center, making our way towards the old bridge, and the Karlstor. We’ll also visit the Renaissance House of the Knights and the Heiliggeistkirche.

Interesting tour with very knowledgeable guide - We had a great time on this tour with our guide Mihai. He was extremely knowledgeable which made the tour interesting. We had plenty of time to explore and also to relax during free time in downtown Heidelberg. Mihai made some restaurant recommendations and made sure we were getting the most out of this tour. His van was very clean and comfortable to ride in.

Beautiful Heidelberg - Lovely tour even on a rainy day. Enjoyed the ruins of the Heidelberg Castle and a little free time in town, where we had lunch. Wish we had more free time to explore the castle on our own but our tour guide was knowledgeable about the area.

Nice way to spend a day - Wonderful tour. Our guide was easy going, knowledgeable, helpful and kind. Made the day fly by. The tour was nice, learned a lot, castle and drive worth it and able to walk around a cute small town at the end. A nice way to spend half a day. We did the 3:30pm tour…it was chilly so dress in layers if you can. I was glad I brought gloves! Nice to have a van had 3 people on our tour so felt very comfort and safe.

Fabulous day trip! - This was a fantastic day from Frankfurt to Heidelberg. The castle visit was fascinating and the perfect balance between solo exploring and guided tour. The tour guide was fantastic!

Interesting tour with an excellent guide! - The castle was beautiful and our guide Gunther told us all kinds of interesting things about the architecture and history of the building and the surrounding city. Gunther also gave us some nice tips for our city walk/lunch. The tour was everything I expected. Keep up the good work, Gunther!

Good tour with a very knowledgable guide - Michael is extremely knowledgable and we enjoyed the tour and all the information he provided. It’s almost like a fascinating history and culture lesson while touring beautiful Heidelberg with him. However, note that this is not a private tour as claimed. We were surprised to have another couple join us. If so, this should be labelled as a small group tour and prices adjusted accordingly.

Chance they cancel last min - Watch out for the afternoon tour. Didn’t have enough people for afternoon so they canceled at lunch time. I would’ve taken the early tour had I been informed of this possibility
