Schloss Weikersheim - Renaissance Castle Weikersheim featuring the “Knights Hall” (Rittersaal) and a Baroque garden.
Barockes Rathaus - Photo stop in Röttingen at the town hall. Röttingen is Germany’s first European town.
Rothenburg ob der Tauber - Rothenburg is considered the most romantic town in Germany and a highlight of the Romantic Road, a MUST when traveling in Europe. Spend 3 hours exploring the town and visiting its famous sights: the medieval town wall, historical market place with a magnificent town hall, Gothic parish church of St. Jacob, Plönlein, German Christmas Museum with Käthe Wohlfarth’s Christmas Village, and the Medieval Crime and Torture Museum.
Würzburg Residence - Photo stop at the Würzburg Residence (Palace), a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1981. Noteworthy features include the Baroque court garden and the elaborately decorated church (Hofkirche). This is the official starting point of the Romantic Road.
