Experience Frankfurt with all your senses. - We had great weather and 12 challenging puzzles to solve, which we were able to solve except for a few. Unfortunately, the clues have not always helped us. It was a great experience day.

Super for a day in Frankfurt - Have played the game around the new old town and had real fun! You learn a little about the history of Frankfurt in a fun way. Will definitely do the game in Altsachsenhausen.

Recommended - The perfect complement to our city tour. We had a lot of fun. We liked the flexibility of time the most. There are also informative stories around Frankfurt.

Everything has been thought of in terms of organisation, very creative, plenty of room for breaks and personal initiative - We decided on the game “Orden der Befreiten” and booked the tour because 3 of us hadn’t been to Frankfurt (Main) yet and wanted to see the city. We found it to be very well organized, especially in terms of creativity. The provider had given instructions BEFORE the game started, with 4 or 5 options where you could pick up the map near the starting point (- we didn’t have to print it out)! Of course, it’s still a puzzle and sometimes you have to think a bit. ;-) But if you don’t know what to do next, you can always ask for a hint. You get some historical information for each station and also insider tips on where you could take a nice coffee break or see something. Good mix and kept short. Also great: You can take breaks at any time, as the game runs for 48 hours. So we could have even continued the next day. Highly recommended! :-)

Original city tour with fun - We took the puzzle tour through Sachsenhausen and were thrilled. The tour is varied and the puzzles are not too difficult. There was additional information at the respective destinations for those interested in history. That was a city tour with a difference! Highly recommended. We will certainly use this puzzle fun in other cities as well.

A must-do to get to know Frankfurt - Really enjoyed this game to get to know Frankfurt! Make sure you have access to wifi if possible otherwise be ready to walk around lots to try to connect into different free wifis in the area. We sometimes found it tricky to connect due to not having a good wifi system. The team were really helpful and available to answer any questions or help with clues when we got stuck once. Would definitely recommend!

Fun! - It was fun! We stopped for lunch, but probably took us closer to 4 hours total (so longer than the 2.5 hours the website says). The website says it’s open 1pm-10pm, but we went earlier and it worked fine.

No recommendation đź‘Ž - We definitely can NOT recommend the Spurl. Unclear, sometimes pointless instructions, everything is very far-fetched. Hardly possible without local knowledge.

Not fun - We had to ask for hints on every item...not fun at all. The game map would only print on A4, not letter, so we went to the Local Dealer store to get a game map, and it was in German only. I was informed at the time of purchase this game would be in English, but only the site and clues were. I would not recommend this game as some of the answers had nothing to do with the clues. If you wanted an explanation, you had to email them asking how they came up with the answer...pfft. Not fun. The kid did most of the work and got some of it by watching the videos.
