Wonderful Vineyard Cycle - Private Tour - We had the most wonderful day exploring by bike. The personalised tour was matched to our liking and the pace as we wanted. Wine-tastings were phenomenal and allowed us as a family to relax and take in the vistas. Lastly we enjoyed a farm to fork meal at Mont Rochelle which was so fresh and delicious. Thank you, thank you!

Amazing Must Do Tour - My Wife and I had a tour with guide Abi personalised through amazing wineries we missed on other tours. As long as you are fit to ride you will enjoy this tour and remember it for years to come. Cannot thank Matt and the rest of the team enough for having this on offer.

Franschhoek bike and wine tour with Abi - We did a full day Franschhoek bike and wine tour with Abi, and we had a wonderful time. Biking was a great way to get our legs moving and see the beauty of the town. Abi was an excellent and knowledgable guide and we had so much fun chatting with him and learning about the area and the vineyards. He made it feel very comfortable and personal.

Fantastic well organised enjoyable day with a lovely guide - We did the full day private cycle tour in Franschhoek starting in the centre of the town.
Our guide Mandla was very knowledgeable and polite and he made the day so much more enjoyable.
It was such a boiling hot day (37 degrees) that I struggled in the heat but Mandla was so patient!!
We went to 3 vineyards for wine tasting and everyone was so friendly and it was all so well organised that I would definitely recommend.

A Marvellous day at the Vinyards - We were a family of five who wanted to experience the vineyards around Stellenbosch , we left to the choice of which vineyards to our guide & owner of the company Mathew ,he arrived to pick us up bright & early in an air conditioned 8 seater VW combi which we enjoyed immensely ,we were very impressed with his driving & local knowledge on the 60 minute journey to the 1st vineyard,THE NEETHLINGSHOF ESTATE where we tasted 5 wines & walked around the breathtaking grounds,it was fantastic ,Mathew obviously knew the staff & we were treated very well. Our next vineyard was TOKARA,during this comfort break we observed the many art pieces which were spectacular & such a surprise.
We then headed through the beautiful university town of Stellenbosch,what a gorgeous place well worth a visit on its own.Our final vineyard was BOSCHENDAL ,where we tasted more wine & had a superb lunch,after which we walked the spectacular gardens.We returned to our base having experienced a quite magical day thanks to our tour guide Mathew whose knowledge of the area & contacts took all the hard work of planning the trip,a job which without the know how could be disastrous ,on behalf of my family I would like to thank Mathew for a great,value for money day.

Highly recommend!!!!!! - Wow, wow, wow! What an amazing experience cycling through Franschhoek. Our guides Skeezo and Melo were so incredible. We are so full of gratitude and for the beautiful day we all shared. Amazing tour company, and I would look forward to doing another tour with them (Hike & Bike Cape Town)

Best experience ever! - We had the most amazing time. Seriously, we felt like we were in a movie! So picturesque and serene. My teenage girls who were grumbling in the morning, had a blast too! Matt took the best care of us! He geared to each one of us. Highly recommend!

Simply the best - Simply put this was one of our best days. We were a large group with quite an age range and ability. Bike and hike were honestly amazing. Bikes were well maintained and Matt, our tour guide ,was friendly and well informed. Best way to experience the beautiful country and visit some of the best wine farms in South Africa. Highly recommend this tour company. We will definitely be back.

Phil. - We had an amazing day with Matt and Hike and Bike. I don’t usually write reviews but this was one of the best adventures we have ever done as a family. Bike and Hike are experts at what they do and offer a fantastic personal service from pick up to drop off with old fashioned service. We were shown places off the usual tourist trail and felt that out experience was unique. We were also lucky enough to have Matt as our guide who is also the owner of the business. Matt ensured that our whole day was special and was fantastic with our children. His knowledge of local history and of course, local wines and cuisine was amazing and made to our day exceptional. We had a great holiday on SA with so many amazing experiences, but our day with Bike and Hike was one of the best days we had. I would highly highly recommend this company to anyone wanting a great day outdoors in a extremely relaxed environment..thanks Matt and Bike and Hike for making our holiday memorable..
