Hop on an electronic MTB and embark on a journey through the wooded areas of Tusculum, a beautiful Archaeological Park. Along with the alluring natural beauty and awe-inspiring vistas, get mesmerized by the ruins of the ancient city of Tusculum. As you ride along, the Electric Bicycle allows you to acquaint yourself with two distinctive towns of the Castelli Romani: Frascati and Grottaferrata. In addition to that, if you opt for the Wine Tasting, you will be escorted to one of the most ancient family-owned wine shop in Frascati, where a wine connoisseur will guide you through the sampling of three wine tastings. Each wine is explained thoroughly and is matched with fresh-baked goods. Sit back and unwind, savoring your wine in an exquisite environment, before heading back to the Frascati train station.
- Your private guide will be waiting for you at the exit of the Frascati train station, we recommend that you take the train from Termini Station at 8:54 if you have chosen the 9:30 tour, or at 9:54 if you have chosen the 10: 30 tours.
- The length of the tour is 25 kilometers (15 miles), 60% of which is off-road. The level is easy but it requires a minimum of cycling experience.
- Around 40% of this tour takes place in the Frascati and Grottaferrata villages . The tour runs on carefully chosen streets, but some traffic is unavoidable to connect the Frascati Center to Grottaferrata Center. In the remaining 60% of the route (riding in the Tusculo park), there is no traffic.
- Children from 160cm and above can independently ride an E-bike
- This tour doesn’t include any food/drinks; however, the route offers possibilities to purchase some (to be consumed during a suitable break)
