Our tour will reveal why Frascati played a pivotal role in the history and wine traditions of the Eternal City. We’ll wander through the historic center, savoring artisanal jug wine in a traditional Wine Tavern frequented by local farmers. This wine will be paired with delicious local flatbread! Next, we’ll take a short drive to our family’s historic Farmhouse, just minutes from town.

• Minardi Frascati Winery - Our journey continues at our family’s historic Wine Farmhouse, nestled in the Frascati Wine valleys, a mere 7-minute drive from Frascati. For nine generations, the Minardi family has cultivated vineyards and olive trees here, producing jug wine in the old cellar. Our farmhouse now serves as a “Frascati Wine Museum,” surrounded by vineyards and olive groves, where we celebrate the culture of fine local wines and cuisine. Enjoy a guided tour and tasting of our 3 Boutique Wines and EVO Oil, followed by a traditional LUNCH at the farmhouse and a musical surprise! Occasionally, we dine at the traditional Tavern in Frascati. After this delightful experience, we’ll drive you back to town for your return train to Rome from the city center.
