The driver will pick you up from your hotel in Kuala Lumpur city at 5 am to embark on a journey to Fraser’s Hill, a haven for bird enthusiasts located approximately 2 hours away. Depart early in the morning with your camera ready to capture Malaysia’s native and migratory birds, or choose a later departure that excludes the bird-watching segment of the tour.

En route to the highland resort, the driver will make several sightseeing stops. Enjoy a view of the Sungai Selangor dam, a popular spot for photography and fishing. Visitors can observe the large hole in the lake where water descends to feed the supply pipes. From this point, a short jungle trek leads to a collection of English Tudor cottages from the colonial era, each uniquely designed and named, offering another excellent photography opportunity. See the clock tower in the town center, adorned with creeper vines, and visit Allan’s Water, a small lake with paddle boats.

During the bird-watching activity, you will have approximately 4 hours of prime viewing time along 31 miles (50 km) of tropical jungle trails. Your guide will assist you in spotting some of the 270 bird species at this popular site for birders and bird photographers alike. During these 4 hours, the guide will aim to cover the Hemmant Trail, Bishop Trail, and the road for bird watching. If time allows, there will be a brief walking stop at Jeriau Waterfall.

After completing the birding adventure, you will be transported back to your hotel in Kuala Lumpur with delightful memories.
