We enjoyed most of the tour but there were many references to slavery and racism where it seemed to become personal. The guide told us she was planting seeds for us to think about. I would have preferred for the information to have been focused on facts and history. The guide clearly has a lot of love for St. Croix but may need to adopt a more objective and less opinionated stance when leading tours.

Tour worthwhile. Enjoyed time in fort, historical information, and visit in church. Tour guide was mediocre. Some confusion on arrangements. Tour guide picked up cruise passengers on pier. But, wasn't told she had four guests who were told that we were to meet tour at Freedom Statue. She only found us because we were asking other vendors about the walking tour and one of them told our tour guide about us.

The tour had almost nothing to do with Hamilton, as was advertised. WE simply joined a large cruise group, though we were staying on the island, and were given a tour of the Christiansted Fort and its history. We had already done that the day before ourselves. We asked the tour guide, Lorena (?) if she had give us more details about Hamilton after the cruise tour group ended, and she said she could not, b/c she had another obligation.
