Great Tour and Wines - We booked the tour along with a tasting of five wines tasting and loved it. The winery is certainly remote (you may start to think you have taken a wrong turn but stick with it - the winery is well signposted re is plenty) but this does mean that the winery enjoys some fantastic views across the valley. Davide hosted us and showed us around the vineyard, talking through the different grapes that they grow / wines that they make - we even got to try some of the grapes. It was then into the winery and finally the tasting. We really enjoyed the wines - it was great to try something different being the unfiltered white wine and we loved both the Helios Grillo & Nero d'Avola .... so much so that we ordered a few bottles. The wines are served along with a selection of cheeses, meats and Sicilian dishes which were lovely. We have done many many wine tours across the world and this is one of the best that we have enjoyed - we would highly recommended it to anyone.

Everything is perfect ... just one thing is missing 😉 - EVERYTHING IS PERFECT. THERE'S ONLY ONE THING MISSING. A review of a winery that offers tastings goes a bit beyond the canons of description of the usual culinary experiences. Every now and then, for the pure pleasure of experimenting, for the curiosity to discover corners of territory that are different from the usual routes already traveled, it is worth facing a few kilometers of desolate road to discover unimaginable realities. The Di Giovanna winery, built by Aurelio as early as the 1960s and today managed by his sons Klaus and Gunther, is located in a naturalistic "hermitage" of rare beauty, quiet and tranquility, located just outside Sambuca di Sicilia. No annoying noises, just the wind between the rows and olive trees, the chirping of cicadas and the singing of birds. And then, the wine, especially... They will make you sit, after a short explanatory walk through the vineyards, in a cozy and functional tasting room, where the wines chosen are combined with simple but effective typical dishes of the territory, able to best support the tasting. This solution without the classic coupling with real courses, which to some drinking purist might seem reductive, instead seems fully representative of a territorial reality more inclined to concrete and substance than to forms and dictates from "cuisin". I also believe that this approach helps to highlight and emphasize the importance of wine as a key element of the food and wine journey, which sometimes risks being overwhelmed by the intrusiveness of the accompanying food. The many foreigners present in the room, from all over the world and all very satisfied, are the testimony of this consensus. We were fortunate enough to be introduced and trained on the vocation and characteristics of the company by Klaus, a faithful example of how it is possible and rewarding to play the dual role of manager and affable entertainer of their guests. Wines of excellent quality (among all Helios grillo and nero d'avola) perfectly connected with pate, cheese, jams, salami, caponata... A different path than usual, destined to amaze those who, with courage and initiative, try to prove first of all to themselves, that winemaking Sicily has an enormous hidden capacity, destined to reveal itself soon. A single suggestion, aimed at filling a gap in the winery's offer and motivated by personal preferences and an eye on today's Point of Sale: when are bubbles?

SIMPLY SUBLIMINAR - Unique experience and undoubtedly to be repeated!!! Fascinating location, to reach it you take a country road that winds through the hills to climb up to the foot of the mountains where beautiful lush vineyards are born! Once in the cellar the landscape is breathtaking!!! Remarkable tasting of typical local products and especially of truly fine wines and delicate on the palate, each with its own personality! The sunset tasting is subliminal especially when spent with important people with whom to share flavors places and the fascinating sunset! Excellent welcome, courteous and professional staff, but above all attentive and meticulous in describing and telling the origins and processing processes of each wine tasted! Finally my congratulations to Klaus owner of the winery..... to amaze you with his presence! Simply to make sure his customers are pampered enough! Fascinating to be able to hear the story of the birth of the Di Giovanna winery because you immediately understand how much sacrifice work and passion is behind it all! Person to confront and even joke with ...... EXCELLENT WINES AND FABULOUS OIL!!! CONGRATULATIONS!!! THANK YOU TO KLAUS FOR THE GIFT GIVEN TO US AND MUCH WELCOMED!!!

Tasting and tour in the cellar and among the vineyards - Suggestive Experience…. With a wonderful welcome from the property that pampers its guests, at 360 degrees... from the tour inside the cellar, describing the procedures in the smallest details up to the bottling... and then a superlative tour in an infinite land among vineyards, olive trees and artificial lakes... finally arriving in the refined tasting room, where the multisensory experience inebriates the palate, sight and smell with a succession of courtesy, kindness, competence and professionalism of all the staff…. We were enchanted by the atmosphere and the tasting journey of the excellent organic wines and the superlative organic extra virgin olive oil... all accompanied by platters of very high quality cured meats and cheeses, very fresh ricotta and other things to combine with the fragrant bread... Everything top of the range!!!! Compliments !!!!!!!!!

Excellent in every aspect - highly recommendable - Out back, up in the hills between Sambuca di Sicilia and Giuliana, is the finest organic winery where we experienced the best wine tasting ever. From the moment we were greeted by the English-speaking lady of the place, who was our guide, to leaving the farm a lot of good experiences richer. She started by offering us coffee, after which we were introduced to the vineyard closest to the winery. Here we were given a very detailed overview of the grapes and wines and were allowed to taste the grapes. Next, we went to the outdoor press where the hand-picked grapes are separated from stems and leaves and piped into the production facility. We have never seen such a beautiful and professional facility and were given a detailed description and even tasted the raw must. We went to the cellar and looked at the storage etc. and afterwards we were welcomed into the beautiful tasting room, where the table was already set for us. To accompany the exquisite and well-described 5 wines, we were served a very nice and rich selection of local specialities - hot and cold, bread, sausage, vegetables, cheese and their own olives and oil. All in all, a highly recommendable experience. We thank Di Giovanna for a memorable time at the winery
