Amazing experience - The best time to visit this place is by sunset. Mario was wonderful guide! He knew little details that only experienced guide can tell you☀️

A great guided tour of the Valley of the Temples - Mario was a great guide: informative, communicative, responded to questions and filled a lot into 2 hours. He was generous with his time and clearly knowledgeable. Very organized and focused.

An excellent tour with Michele as our guide - Michele was an excellent guide, after an initial mix up regarding the meeting place (my fault not his but beware that there are ticket offices at both ends of the temple walk) the tour was very informative and Michele was both amusing and able to answer our questions and share his knowledge. Note that although it said that the tour ended at the start point, this was incorrect and we had to make our own way back to the start point where we had left our car.

Great experience - Quite an experience and with a very good guide. A whole lesson in history and wisdom. In addition to taking the 6pm shift we saw the sunset and lighting of the temples. We all loved it Fantastic

Atmospheric and enjoyable tour - A wonderful tour. It was so armospheric at this time of day, plus not so hot. Our guide Mario was very knowledgeable and answered our questions and gave us a good picture of what the temples would have looked like when they were built and the history of the area. Highly recommend.

Worth adding a stop to your trip 100% - Awesome tour and guide. Definitely an evening activity as I couldn’t imagine doing it in the heat. The temples lit up at night are stunning and the history lesson from the guide brought them even more to life.

Not a good ending for sure! - We had a nice time on the sunset tour (it was beautiful) until we were left at the end of the tour in the dark by our guide. He told us we were too late for the shuttle back to the parking lot that was going to cost an extra 4 Euro per person. Our confirmation said we would end at the meeting point which was the parking lot/ordination point of the tour and no extra fee was needed! It was really dark and you had to walk over tree roots and stones before getting back on to the flat boulevard along the temple route for maybe 3/4 mile? For us, being 75+ years, it was not only hard but extremely dark and we had only the flashlight from our phones to guide us back. The others in our group were younger and were quicker to exit. Our guide helped one couple get a taxi ride to town but we were told how to get back on our own and good luck! Had I known we were going to be in our own at the end, I would have paid more attention to the route back. A lot of the route is lit, but some areas are not and it was somewhat scary being out there by ourselves and seeing no one else. . We were among the last 3 cars to leave the parking lot. Our guide did not carry a flashlight however other guides had them and used them to light the way and the brochure he read from.

Great temples but poor tour. - The perfect time to visit the temples and see them during sunset then light up in the dark at the end. Had a great time. However quality of the tour was very poor. Better to go enjoy them alone. Tour guide shared limited information about the temples and was not worth the cost.

Sunset guided tour of valley of the temple - Not worth it. Viator just takes your money and you have to figure out how to find your guide. No sign, no indications. We have to ask around if they were our guide. And the guide was not very good. You’re better off just doing some reading in Wikipedia and walk around on your own.
