Additional Information

A book could encapsulate the rich history of the Manostalla estate, highlighting the contributions of Jesuits, farm workers, and the aristocracy in shaping the traditions and heritage of the location where your wine tasting will occur. The ancient Baglio, a historic Sicilian courtyard with a watering bath for animals and mulberry trees for shade, dates back to the early 1800s. It was once owned by the Jesuit Fathers, who used it as a place of prayer within the fief of Manostalla, under the Chiarelli Rossotti Barons of Pietralonga. The farmland spans nearly 250 hectares, featuring organic vineyards, olive groves, and woodlands extending towards the sea. In the late 1800s, the property returned to the Rossotti family, and from this estate, we produce two notable wines: Terre de’ Gesuiti Grillo and Terre de’ Gesuiti Nero d’Avola.
